Showed promise on debut but two subsequent starts have lacked sparkle. Has looked ready for this trip but faces a stiff task in conceding weight to her rivals.
Certainly wasn't a cheap purchase as he cost 200,000 as a yearling but his form so far has only been of a modest nature. Better last time when dropped in grade and fitted with blinkers. Makes polytrack debut and ought to handle the surface.
Stable had three juvenile winners over the weekend with others going well in defeat. Makes nursery debut off a low mark but she has yet to prove the ability is there to take advantage.
Beaten in all three starts to date over 6f-7f on good or fast ground. Handicapper has taken few chances with his opening mark.
Has caught the eye with each run whilst leaving the impression she was one to look out for in nurseries. Gets in on a viable mark and one for the shortlist.
Has improved with each run and tackles a new trip on his handicap debut. Stable are 1-30 with their youngsters here and his opening mark looks no better than fair.
Has finished last in two races on soft ground having shown modest ability on his debut. Would be interesting if there was support for him on his nursery bow in a race as weak as this.
Best run came on this surface on her Lingfield debut. Down the field on three turf starts since but interesting at this level if there are positive signals from the market.
€65,000 purchase who showed more on his debut than he has in both starts since. Has long looked a likely type for a nursery but needs to overcome a tricky draw on this occasion.
Has promised little in three starts so far. Cheekpieces are now tried for nursery debut with significant improvement required.
Not progressing and well beaten in sellers and a claimer on last three starts. Needs to learn how to settle better and others look to have stronger profiles than she does.
Unplaced in all eight starts so far including in selling company on his last three outings. Stable have secured a top rider but more is probably needed. Engaged Chelmsford 6:10 Tuesday.
Cheap purchase who has not beaten many home in his three starts. Has been unloved in the market on each occasion and likely to be a similar story again.
Forecasts
Global Exceed (6/4), Mountain Peak (8/1), Catch The Pigeon (8/1), Heavenly Pulse (8/1), Inuk (10/1), Shoyd (12/1), Roses In June (12/1), Lyford (12/1), Super Florence (18/1), Bullseye Bullet (20/1), Istanbul Pasha (22/1), My Guy (33/1), Afterthisone (66/1)
GLOBAL EXCEED produced an improved display on his nursery bow in first time blinkers. He has little more to do in order to go one better, although there are a few potential dark horses in opposition. Both Catch The Pigeon and Istanbul Pasha have shaped as though they would come into their own in nurseries. Neither have been allocated particularly taxing marks and they need to be monitored in the ring.
- Global Exceed
- Catch The Pigeon
