Both his wins have been at Brighton, including when doing so easily last time (1m2f, good to firm) by 7L. Has gone well here both times he has visited, so there should be optimism that he can defy a 6lb penalty over this trip.
Began the campaign well with wins at Brighton (1m, good to firm) and Goodwood (1m2f, good to firm). 6lb rise and rise in grade, plus a step up in trip combined to see her well beaten at Goodwood last time. Will need to improve to win this.
Sole success was over 7f (good to soft) last season, but has been running with credit in defeat over 1m2f and most recently over 1m1f at Hamilton. Acts on fast ground and should be very competitive at this level.
Showed immediate improvement on last season's form on his reappearance at Haydock, when stepped up to this trip. Raced keenly at Salisbury last time when he was unable to defy a 5lb rise in a better contest, but not yet exposed or written off.
Has made the frame just once in eight starts, that being on the All Weather. Nothing that he has shown so far on the racecourse gives cause for too much enthusiasm where this race is concerned and he is taken on again.
FAIR POWER won well last time at Brighton and although this is a stronger contest, he acts here and on fast ground, so he may have what is required to defy a 6lb rise. Celestation should be capable of giving a good account, but is also likely to need improvement to win, while Dream Machine is feared if he settles better than at Haydock last time.
