Certainly caught the eye at Nottingham on her penultimate start over a mile when subjected to a very easy ride (no more than hands-and-heels) suggesting that there was better to come. Didn't quite build on that over C&D last time but worthy of another chance to confirm that run here.
Her second at Yarmouth in May was her best run of this year but that hasn't been replicated in her last two runs and she's run well below that form. Capable over this trip but others are stronger.
Winner over a mile on the AW at Wolverhampton ending a long losing run and has continued in good form since then only finding one too good on his last two runs. A reproduction of either of those two runs would give him a good chance of going one better here.
Winner of an Epsom handicap last year off a mark of 58 she hasn't shown a great deal since although compromised by a poor track position on her penultimate start which was also her reappearance this season. Failed to build on that however and needs to show more here now.
Made a winning debut this year on the AW (well-backed) and showing improved form. Form in handicaps since then has been rather in-and-out but not without a chance here.
Brighton maiden in a small field wasn't up to much when a long-odds on favourite and her handicap form since then has been below-par to say the least.
Ended last season with a nursery win at Yarmouth over 7f finding plenty to lead close home. Not been seen since and that win did come rather out of the blue but not totally ruled out on her return coming from a powerful yard.
Course winner and that's her only win from 27n Flat starts and its now 12 runs since her last win. Latest run hardly inspires confidence and not one to be given a leading chance here.
Had three runs in maidens last year at big prices when failing to show that much and didn't fare any better on her handicap debut over C&D last time finishing well held.
Sprang right back to form last time out with the blinkers off from her prior run and a far more positive ride. Steps up again in trip here and will have to improve again on her last run off a 3lb higher mark.
Looked to have stepped up on her previous runs last time out when placed in a Lingfield 7f handicap off a 3lb higher mark. However that looks to be very weak form and did rather come out of the blue so is hard to trust.

Forecasts
Twiggy (4/1), Singing Sands (9/2), Alnasl (11/2), Hope Against Hope (7/1), Clear As A Bell (7/1), The Dukkerer (7/1), Zaria (7/1), Be Royale (11/1), Scent Of Power (14/1), Elusive Olivia (14/1), Venetian Proposal (16/1), Delirium (33/1)
Both Clear As A Bell and Twiggy ran races that promised a little more last time out although they will both have to step forward here again to make their mark. Hope Against Hope is an interesting contender back from a break for the Johnston yard while The Dukkerer does have a chance of going one better here after running two good solid races. In the end though SINIGING SANDS is worthy of respect and the vote having run well on her penultimate start before failing to back that up here last time but she might just have a little bit more class than these.
- Singing Sands
- The Dukkerer
- Twiggy
