Is 13lb higher than last year's win over this trip, reappearance run at Wolverhampton was decent in March though very poor at Newcastle since. Plenty to prove back on turf with hood back on.
Ran a fine race to be third over this trip at Ripon eight days ago, drops 1lb now and hasn't got a lot to find. On the shortlist.
Well beaten last time at Wetherby over 5½f, doesn't appear to be on an instantly winnable mark for now. Needs to find something.
Poor in two runs this term, last of seven over this trip at Hamilton early in the month on good-to-firm and comes here with plenty to prove.
Won on his reappearance last season at Ripon and has sound claims from just a 3lb higher mark. Shouldn't have any issue with the ground and is one to bear in mind and worth a check in the betting.
Won a Leicester maiden over 6f for Charlie Appleby in 2014 but only run three times since and didn't show much in couple of starts for new yard last season. Hard to build a case for off another absence.
Twice won over this distance last year and continues to run with credit, needs a bit more but is feasibly weighted now from just 1lb higher than previous winning mark.
Just one win from 13 runs, landing three-runner maiden at Leicester last summer over 6f, was very poor at Leicester last month over 7f and uphill task on here seemingly.
Has career record of 4/32 but unable to register in 11 outings last year and form when last seen was tame, need to see some positive evidence before supporting.
Both wins have come on the AW, showed some promise on turf in couple of runs this time last year at Salisbury and Redcar, would hold decent claims if able to translate AW form across on first start since late March.
Won heavy-ground maiden on only start last year over 6f at Thirsk, returned to action a year later over the same C&D in handicap and was very poor. Hood now applied for first time.
Placed in three of his four starts for previous yard as a two-year-old. Gelded last autumn and debuting for this yard when fourth over 7f at Musselburgh (good-to-firm) last month. Blinkers tried once more here (0/2 wearing them last year).
Dual winner over 6f last season but has climbed up the ratings as a result and reappearance last month over 6f on good-to-firm at Thirsk suggests handicapper is in control for now.
Scored in 6f maiden at Salisbury on second start in 2015, hasn't added to it in 14 subsequent starts and two recent runs since joining current handler suggest he's a bit off changing that for now.

Dandyleekie is proven to go well fresh, any money around for him on this reappearance run would be worth heeding. Johnny Cavagin is also set to be right in the firing line if repeating his recent Ripon run but this might go the way of TANASOQ. Now gelded, he ran a fine race to be second over 6f at Leicester last month on reappearance run and has the scope to improve again on that showing. Penny Pot Lane has the ability for a race like this, while Dream Farr will be on the premises if bringing AW form on this return to turf.
- Tanasoq
- Dandyleekie
