Blotted his copybook here last time out when turning in a very poor effort over this distance having previously looked suited by both this course and distance. Given a fair break since that outing and the cheekpieces/tongue-tie combination is used for the first time in an effort to rejuvenate him.
Has never tried this surface before but being by Speightstown it would be a surprise if he failed to act on it. Is operating below his best at the moment though and would need to improve on his recent efforts.
Took a mile handicap on the Fibresand in January off a mark of 56 and has run respectably off higher marks in two handicaps since. Drops into a claimer for the first time here and looks sure to be suited by a return to a mile.
Has won four times around this course but can look a hard ride and often needs a good pace to run at to be successful. His last few runs here have not been that positive but you never know when he's going to have a going day and he is down in grade.
Won here last year in a mile handicap in first-time cheekpieces and has subsequently won a claimer at Lingfield over 1m1f on turf. Came back off a break last time out when he was far too exuberant for his own good but could come on for that run and this is his grade.
Three AW wins to his name but is a Fibresand virgin and needs to bounce back here from a poor run last time out where he ran freely after being trapped wide. Would be capable in this grade if he took to the surface but that could make him vulnerable with other having experience of the track.
Never raced on this surface although the stable tend to have a good idea of which of their horses act on the track. Won at Kempton Park in November in a handicap off a mark of 61 (7f) but has struggled the last twice and others are preferred.
Well versed in what it takes to win on Fibresand (5-time winner) though he hasn't really been on his best form of late. Looked less than enthusiastic last time out and didn't really look to go through with his effort.
Had just the one start on Fibresand when well held over 7f off a mark of 92. Nowhere near that rating now and has been beaten in sellers and claimers of late.
Looking at her pedigree she should be at home on this surface but so far she has shown very little in maidens and low-grade handicaps. Has a tough task at the weights here and comes back 4f in trip from her last start.

Quite a few of these are dropping in grade and into this company for the first time and horses like Greyfriarschorista and Stun Gun are at home on this surface and in this grade although neither look the easiest of rides. Starfield is a capable sort but does need to bounce back from a poor run last time out with a new headgear combination tried for the first time. Muqarred is of interest given his breeding on this surface but DOSE has won here and run respectably since and drops to this grade for the first time.
