Nine-time winner on the AW although he has yet to win here (0/4). Ran a sound race last time out at Chelmsford (beaten by stable mate) and has won off a higher mark, although does need to show his form around here.
Going from strength to strength of late and developing into a good AW performer (4/7), gaining a career best last time out over C&D. Will need to improve again here off a career high mark but looks to have the wherewithal to do so.
Comes back from an absence here and has her first run for a new yard that has made a good start. One win on the AW so far at Wolverhampton in a maiden but this looks a tough return on a mark that is 10lb higher than her last win.
Capable sort on the AW and won a claimer on his penultimate start here over 6f. This looks tougher though despite his good record over C&D (3/5) and his mark looks a tough one.
Yet to win on the AW from four attempts (dual turf winner) but has run some sound races of late on synthetic surfaces. Had little go right last time out at Kempton Park over 5f off a slightly higher mark, from a very poor draw and left with a position in the race which gave him little chance.
Prolific winner last year when he was in form for much of the season. Not won since Catterick in August though and mark looks a little high now although he did show a little more spark at Southwell recently.
First run for new yard and missed all of last year having run in a Group 3 over 5f as a juvenile. Last two starts as a two-year-old were well below that form and runs here off the same mark as he won a nursery off at the Curragh in August 2015.
Dual C&D winner who took this contest off a 5lb higher mark last year. Not had much luck with the draw here after showing up well last time out (travelled well) and despite the draw must be given a chance to follow up last year's win.
In good form of late and has won three of his last five races. Bounced back to form last time out when winning off 4lb lower at Chelmsford over 5f and well drawn here. h
Has plenty of early speed so should be able to gain a good position although this is tougher than the races he's been winning.
Seven-time winner on the AW all over 5f and a speedy sort who has won over C&D. Draw looks tough today and faces other pace angles which make life awkward in this race.

This looks a good heat and it will take some winning but the ever improving VERNE CASTLE may well be able to add to his already impressive AW record for a yard that do well with their sprinters. Sansfrankskipsgo won this last year but hasn’t been lucky with the draw this time around and it may well be that Just Us Two is the biggest danger. Gwendolyn is also of interest for new connections along with Monumental Man who likes it around this track.
