Two wins from 26 starts and both of those came over 2m. Looks out of form currently and hard to fancy here.
Failed to make any sort of impression in recent times and an unlikely contender and what she's shown this year.
Finished a good second to a progressive sort at Newcastle last time out and fared better than many do when running close to the pace at this track. Every chance of taking a weak affair such as this if repeating that run.
Didn't really factor over C&D last time out and got raised 5lb for that fourth placed effort. That rise would appear harsh on the face of it.
Has failed to run a place so far in his career and hard to envisage that changing today.
Still a maiden from 33 starts but has found some consistency in recent times and shouldn't be long until he pops up in a race like this.
Feasibly handicapped and has run well here on several occasions. Another who has zero wins from 30 plus starts though and not one to rely upon.
Formerly useful when trained in Ireland but has failed to show much for this yard bar some modest placed efforts in the summer. No suggestion he stays this far and others preferred.
C&D winner who has become well-handicapped on old form but very little to get excited about in his performances over the last year.
Lightly raced four-year-old who ran well at Newcastle recently. Caught too far back at the same track next time but not without a hope and is at least in some sort of form.
Best run on the flat when well backed at Chelmsford last time out and claims if building on that but the drop in trip doesn't look like the obvious antidote.
C&D winner who has dropped a long way in the weights. Well-being a doubt after being pulled up on recent starts over fences though and last placed effort in either code was over a year ago.
Forecasts
My Renaissance (7/2), Cougar Kid (7/2), Top Set (9/2), Miss Dusky Diva (10/1), Ship Canal (10/1), Par Three (12/1), Haaffa Sovereign (12/1), Whip Up A Frenzy (12/1), Hooks Lane (12/1), Moccasin (16/1), Rainford Glory (16/1), Right Madam (20/1)
It's not often a horse with a profile of one win from 31 runs would be of any interest but MY RENAISSANCE put in a smart performance at Newcastle last time out and can go one better in this weak affair. Top Set has been running consistently well without winning of late and he has to be of interest while Ship Canal got caught too far back last time out and has claims on his penultimate third-placed effort.
1. My Renaissance
2. Top Set
3. Ship Canal
