Mr Lupton hasn’t got the best of draws in the William Hill Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes which is frustrating. We’re coming back very quickly after his run in the Coolmore Nunthorpe last week but there aren’t many races left for him this season so it’s worth a try. He seems well.
Inaugurate is a filly we like but she was disappointing at Leicester on debut. I hope she’ll run better in the Irish EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes but she needs to.
Delph Crescent is progressing nicely and showed a great attitude to win at Hamilton last time. The step up in trip has really helped him and he handles any ground. He’ll need more in the Beverley Silver Cup Handicap from his new mark but I wouldn’t’ rule it out given the form he’s in.
Indomeno also runs here. He’s a grand horse who won five last season and paid the price. The handicapper is just starting to give him a chance now though and he ran well when second at Doncaster last time. It would be no surprise to see him run a big race.
We’re also double-handed in the Minster Handicap. Inviolable Spirit has been running out of his skin and the whole time the handicapper has been giving him another pound or two. It doesn’t make life easy for him but he’ll try his best.
Right Action has lost his way after winning a couple early on and needs to bounce back to be competitive here.
Carnageo is dropping in grade for the Follow Sun Racing On Twitter Claiming Stakes at Wolverhampton and on his best form would win. He must go very close with a bit of luck in running.
Gabrial’s Kaka is in great order and won well in a similar contest to the Silk Series Lady Riders' Handicap here a couple of starts ago. Megan Nicholls takes the ride and the horse has form at the track. I’d like to think he can go there and nearly win again.

I thought Fool For You ran a blinder at York last week. We’re coming back quickly for the Like Sun Racing On Facebook Handicap but if she’s in the same form as last time she’d definitely have a chance.
It’s been a frustrating summer with Growl. To be at his best I do think he needs slower ground than he’s been encountering – but his last three runs at York, Goodwood and Ripon have been monsters in the circumstances. He could go close in the Ideal Recruit Handicap despite top weight.
We also run Powerallied who is in great order. He needs a lifetime best but has a good draw in four and if you asked for the ideal scenario for this horse it’s five-and-a-half furlongs around here.

Gabrial The Devil has been running well all season at trips between six furlongs and a mile but whether he’d have the speed for five at Chester I’d have my doubts going into the Foxy Bingo One-To-Go Handicap.
Angel Gabrial returns to action in the closing Horseradish Handicap. He had a little setback and might just need the run – although I’m hoping he won’t. He’s well handicapped on the pick of his form nowadays but isn’t getting any younger.
Gabrial’s King will decide how he runs in the same race. If things drop right for him it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him there or thereabouts though.
Brian The Snail is such a disappointing horse. We’re trying something different with him by giving him a spin on the all-weather in the Betfred Chelmsford City Cup Handicap but it needs to spark him into life.
Roderick is progressing nicely and runs in the closing totepool Nursery. He hasn’t done much wrong and the step up to six furlongs will suit him – he’ll get seven in time. This is a good test and we’ll know where we are with him afterwards.
