Fair bumper winner who also landed a 2m novice hurdle at Kelso in the spring. Not disgraced under a penalty but has cut little ice all 3 starts in handicap company and has plenty to prove at present.
Fair maiden hurdler in France in 2024/25. Limited impact for Sophie Leech but has joined a yard with a good record with new recruits and is worth chancing from a reduced mark back from a further 4 months off.
Fair Flat winner who made a successful handicap hurdle debut at Wetherby in spring of 2025. Little to shout about in either code since, though made slightly more impact from his basement mark back on the level at Pontefract recently.
Much improved when third on handicap bow at Market Rasen back in February. Let down by his jumping when fifth of 7 at Huntingdon (2m, soft) the following month but got back on track when fourth at Worcester (2m) recently, despite again showing a tendency to jump left.
Resumed his progress when successful at Carlisle (17f) in March, finishing ahead of 4 next-time-out winners. Below par on both outings since, though.
In good hands and showed more than first time up over hurdles when fourth of 9 in a 17f Carlisle novice in March. Offered little switched to a handicap at Hexham in May but it remains early days.
Backed into 11/4 but folded quickly on Hexham bumper debut in April 2025 and has shown little in 3 starts over hurdles subsequently. Into handicaps now and needs major improvement from a stiff-looking mark.
Modest maiden on the Flat (stays 1¼m) who seemingly had every chance when fourth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Southwell (2m, good) on final outing for Pam Sly in June, just put in his place by more progressive rivals. Since acquired by new yard for £7,000.
Recorded a first success since landing this corresponding event in 2024 in 8-runner handicap at Kelso (2¼m, good) in September, edging ahead late on. Beaten only narrowly in his follow-up bid from a 4 lb higher mark at Sedgefield and should go well again.
Maiden who showed he hasn't lost all his ability back down in trip when fifth of 10 in 2m handicap at Hexham last week. Remains to be seen if he's able to build on that.
Positive start for Adam Nicol switched to handicaps last autumn, runner-up at Perth and Sedgefield. Below that level final 2 outings and now drops back markedly in trip on first outing for new yard after 9 months off.

Forecasts
Cawthorne Cracker (13/8), Thesoldiersminit (5/1), Bodygroove (8/1), Bouboule (10/1), Paragon (12/1), National Question (12/1), Plane Sailing (12/1), Ms Cindy Kate (12/1), Zeezee (14/1), Nobotheratall (14/1), Alidam (25/1)
ALIDAM made little impact for Sophie Leech but has dropped to a very handy mark on his French form and is worth chancing setting out for a new yard in a refitted hood. Cawthorne Cracker seems sure to give another good account, while it remains early days for Ms Cindy Kate.
