Flat winner in Ireland earlier in his career. In good form over hurdles on joining Olly Murphy last summer. Has been absent for 13 months but dangerously well treated back on the Flat. Support could prove significant.
Won at Bath (1¾m) in May. Has gone close twice since but hasn't helped his cause with slow starts when below par on last 2 outings. Blinkers return now.
Veteran who has won multiple times here but found it hard going so far this season. Hard to rule out a revival but others arrive with more pressing claims.
Ex-Irish maiden who has offered only minor promise at best in a handful of runs for current yard. Takes another marked step up in trip here. Could only consider if backed.
Yet to better modest form and not an obvious one based on his 3 handicap efforts so far. A first-time tongue tie now joins the cheekpieces he wore last time.
Handicap hurdle winner in May and halted a lengthy losing streak on the Flat when forging clear to win a 10-runner handicap (7/2) at Nottingham (2¼m, good) 26 days ago. Should remain competitive off 6 lb higher.
Former winner of this race on heavy. Latest victory at Ayr in July. Placed twice at Hamilton at the end of the summer but 2 lesser efforts have followed. Is back on that last successful mark if a change of headgear perks him up.
Got off the mark when making all over C&D (good to firm) last month. Ran abysmally at Musselburgh since but has finished in the first 3 on all visits to Catterick.
Maiden after 12 starts and last month's 1¼m Beverley run was poor. Significantly back up in trip.
Bumper winner at Sedgefield in September 2024 but has shown precious little since, including 5 outings on all-weather last winter. The cheekpieces he wore when winning his bumper return now tackling turf for the first time on the Flat.
Bumper winner for Rebecca Menzies but well beaten in 4 attempts on the Flat, including handicap debut latest.
Improved when winning 11-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (16.5f) last month and backed it up with second of 11 over 17f at Bath (good) 8 days ago. Softer ground an unknown but she's one of few who obviously arrives in form.

Forecasts
Corsican Caper (2/1), Lilykoy (4/1), Rock On Pedro (7/1), Ebony Maw (8/1), Fairydale (10/1), Two Plus Two (12/1), Bollin Neil (12/1), Habari (14/1), Flag Of Eva (16/1), Golden Samba (20/1), Lion City (33/1), Masterpiece (33/1)
The class-dropping ROCK ON PEDRO gets the vote back on the Flat after a lay-off, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Lilykoy has found some improvement of late and is feared most. Corsican Caper and Ebony Maw, a former winner of this race, are others to consider.
