Made a winning handicap debut at this course (5f) in April and followed up at Chepstow. Has made the frame 4 of 5 starts since, only narrowly denied over 7f here a week ago. Major player with cheekpieces added.
Placed twice from 4 starts in maidens last year but is yet to fire in 3 outings this season, thirteenth of 17 in handicap at Fairyhouse last time. Makes all-weather debut.
Reached a fair level in maidens at this course on first 2 starts of the year. However, has run poorly the last twice, making handicap/turf debut when well held at the Curragh on latest outing. Cheekpieces now go back on.
Three-time winner for George Boughey in 2025. Without a win so far this year when initially trained by G. O'Leary, but ran well (fared best of those held up) on stable debut when second of 12 in handicap here (5f) 3 weeks ago. Merits consideration.
Useful handicapper at best but went the wrong way for Stuart Crawford in 2025. Yet to offer much encouragement in 5 outings for new stable this season. Now tried in first-time blinkers and hood.
Maiden winner here (7f) in December and returned to that form in handicaps when third of 7 at Down Royal (5f) in June. She hasn't gone on from that effort, though, down the field at Navan 7 weeks ago. Cheekpieces on first time.
Took advantage of reduced mark when scoring over C&D in January, his tenth success at this venue. Below form since, but he's now back down in the weights again so can't be ruled out here. Has widest draw to overcome, though.
Doubled his tally in classified event at Wolverhampton (5f) in March. Has largely struggled for form in handicaps since, though, failing to build on previous effort when eighth of 12 at this course (5f) 3 weeks ago.
Successful twice over 5f on turf last year. However, he ended 2025 on a low-key note and has fared little better in 4 races this season. Makes only his second start on all-weather (placed in maiden here).
Sole success came in this race last year. Made the frame here several times since, before running well below that level on turf last 3 outings. Could fare better returned to all-weather.
Hasn't offered much in her 5 races to date, returning from 6 months off when ninth of 12 in maiden at Down Royal (5f) in September. Has plenty to find as she makes handicap debut.
Little impact in a trio of maidens for Gavin Cromwell last summer. Not much promise in handicaps on first 2 starts for this yard, but showed more when fourth of 12 here (5f) 3 weeks ago. Could be in the mix with cheekpieces fitted.
Still looking for a breakthrough success but finished closer than previously this season when 2¼ lengths third of 9 at Laytown in September. Possibly unsuited by heavy ground at Cork since and she's eased further in the weights as a result.
All 3 career victories at this course, the latest over 5f in December. Good second here in February but no better than mid-division since, last of 12 returned to this venue on latest outing.
Navan maiden winner on second start but her form has gone the wrong in handicaps this year, again finishing well held back at Navan 16 days ago. RESERVE.
Returned to form when runner-up at Galway (7f) in September and backed that up when making the frame at Listowel. However, below-par effort at Thurles (8.5f) 15 days ago and his losing run continues to mount up. RESERVE.
Placed on 3 occasions this year, the latest when third of 14 at Bellewstown (1m) last month. It's now over 3 years since his last success, though, and ran below form when fifth of 13 at Roscommon (7.5f) 11 days ago. Now switches to blinkers. RESERVE.

Forecasts
Blue Anthem (6/4), Boston Max (9/4), The Cosy Corner (4/1), Imperial Dream (8/1), Zabriskie Point (8/1), Akashaa (8/1), Inishmot Prince (12/1), Sovereign Banter (16/1), Gonna Be Golden (25/1), Hasiyna (25/1), Sassy Boom (25/1), Surpass And Shine (33/1), Phil's Dream (33/1), Perfect Base (50/1), Dandyville (50/1), Call The Cavalry (66/1), Treasured Royal (66/1)
Preference is for BOSTON MAX, who proved at least as good as ever when just edged out at this course 7 days ago. He can build on that effort to resume winning ways, though Blue Anthem isn't taken lightly having shaped well here on his recent stable debut. The Cosy Corner completes the shortlist.
