Strong traveller who gained a third C&D victory in August. Hasn't landed a blow either start off his revised mark, latterly beaten 3 lengths over C&D after racing freely. Does at least benefit from a slight ease in grade and forecast strong pace no harm, either.
Front runner who was seen to maximum effect when winning off 3 lb lower at Epsom (8.5f) in late-August. Hasn't looked like repeating the feat either start since, and she may well have competition for the lead here.
C&D winner who has finished runner-up both starts here this season, bouncing back to form when beaten 1½ lengths in a slightly better C&D event last time. Capable of running a big race if in a similar mood (can start slowly).
Lightly-raced 3-y-o. Fair form in turf novice/maiden events. Only matched that form switched to a longer trip/handicap at Thirsk (1m) last time, beaten 4 lengths having been tapped for toe. May at least benefit from a stronger pace to aim at.
Belatedly off the mark in a weak 7f course maiden last month. Didn't repeat that form returned to handicap/all-weather (unproven on surface) at Southwell last time. Back on turf in another change of headgear and booking of Tom Marquand offers some hope of a bounce back.
Course winner. Typically ridden patiently when doubling his tally for the year at Epsom (7f) in August. Back on same mark having trailed the field in a higher grade there last time and another who'll likely find this run to suit.
Well below his fairly useful Irish form since joining current connections. Plugged on to finish 6 lengths sixth of 10 in a strongly-run 7f handicap at Epsom latest. At least worth chancing over 1m on that evidence and mark continues in freefall.
Two-time winner who has been running consistently well of late. Finished 5½-length second to an in-form front runner off this mark at Bath (1m, good to soft) latest. Stall 1 isn't an ideal draw, though.
Got off the mark in smooth fashion at Windsor (6f) in May. Split a couple of subsequent winners when proving his stamina for 7f at Lingfield before a lesser effort reverted to sprinting at Leicester latest. Interesting if step up in trip/first-time cheekpieces has the desired effect.
Won pair of Lingfield handicaps (turf/all-weather) off higher marks last year. Largely been in form this season and looks potentially interesting returning to this idiosyncratic track for the first time in over 2 years (placed all 3 previous starts here).
Veteran hasn't finished out of the frame in 7 career starts here (including a C&D victory). Showed all of his quirks (worried out of it) when season's best runner-up in a race where plenty didn't handle conditions at Goodwood (1¼m, heavy) latest. Remains on a handy mark if putting it all together.
Front runner who gained a fourth course success in June. Since posted a creditable effort in higher grade here either side of below-par performances at Epsom/Redcar. Clearly relishes this quirky track but no easy task to dominate this field from stall 2.
Hit-and-miss performer. Doubled her tally for present yard with an enthusiastic victory over C&D 9 days ago. Prospect of a strongly-run 1m looks ideal, and she can make a bold bid to defy a 5 lb penalty if in the same form.
Inexpensive/speedily-bred Inns Of Court gelding. Steadily progressed in 3 maiden runs, travelling smoothly into contention when a length second behind Norfolk Blue on qualifying run here (7f). Remains with potential now tackling handicaps, for all this will be a sterner test of his stamina.
Maiden whose standout effort came when third in strongly-run 3-y-o handicap at Goodwood (1¼m) last June. Looked to retain that ability on all-weather return prior to getting stuck in the mud on her latest start. Could be worth a chance off a much-reduced mark, with yard recently off the cold list.

Forecasts
South Kensington (3/1), Darvel (5/1), Dark Rosa (13/2), Platinum Prince (13/2), Inspectre (10/1), King Of War (12/1), Gone Rogue (14/1), Daisy Roots (14/1), Reader (16/1), Tronido (16/1), Play Me (20/1), Yachtsman (20/1), Fresh Fade (20/1), Connie Moon (25/1), Norfolk Blue (50/1)
With some green shoots from the Dennis Coakley yard in recent weeks, it could be worth chancing CONNIE MOON in a wide-open handicap. The likely strong pace will suit C&D winners Darvel and South Kensington, with Daisy Roots also considered given her course record. Unexposed 3-y-os Yachtsman and Inspectre are potentially interesting if staying the longer trip.
