Ended 2025 with a win at Chester and picked up where he left off when shading tight finishes at Haydock (10.5f, good to firm) and Thirsk (1m, good to soft) in the spring. Has found things harder in big-field events at York since but may fare better in these slightly calmer waters.

Back to best to win at Chepstow (1m, good to firm) last month but not in the same form when only sixth of 16 back there since.

Winner at Jebel Ali for Doug Watson last November but well held at Meydan on next 2 outings and off for 8 months (has had breathing and gelding operations) ahead of this first outing for Ivan Furtado with a tongue tie refitted. The betting is perhaps the best guide to expectations.

Made a winning start at Beverley last September and runner up in 7f listed event at Newbury a month later. Hasn't built on that as might have been expected in a trio of handicap starts this season and now gets first-time cheekpieces.

Useful sort who got off the mark with something to spare in novice at Kempton (7f) in August and went like the best horse at the weights (conceded first run) when second on 1m Lingfield handicap debut 3 weeks ago. Open to further progress and leading claims tackling turf for first time.

On his last winning mark but absent since a below-par run over C&D just under a year ago so a watching brief is advised unless the betting suggests otherwise.

Dark Angel gelding who won maiden/novice events over 1m on Lingfield's polytrack earlier in the year. Has bettered that form in defeat in a pair of all-weather handicaps since and remains relatively unexposed racing on turf for only a second time.

Promising third on debut for Ed Walker last autumn and returned to win maiden at Thirsk (7f, good) and novice at Chester (7.5f, good to firm) for new yard in June. A couple of lesser runs in handicaps have followed bit it remains early days.

C&D scorer on good to soft in April and recorded 3 more wins on good to firm over the summer. Has soft ground as a possible excuse for a below-par effort at Haydock last time.

Advanced his form with a breakthrough win in 1m handicap at Newmarket in June and has backed it up with runner-up efforts on 2 of his 3 outings since. Likely to be on the premises again.

Fair form when runner-up in 1m Goodwood maiden in May but below that level in a couple of similar races since. Off for 12 weeks (gelded) ahead of this handicap debut.
