Thank You To Kinneston Owners Handicap Chase

Made the frame in a point and showed a bit on hurdles debut in November. Well held both starts during the winter and switches to a handicap for chasing debut/ reappearance.

Expensive to follow over hurdles last season but did find only one too good in first-time cheekpieces at Newcastle in January. Easy to excuse Ayr run a month later and a tongue tie replaces cheekpieces ahead of this chase debut.

Finally got off the mark under Rules in a Newcastle handicap chase in March but expensive to follow otherwise, going in snatches/never dangerous when fourth of 5 in handicap chase at Newcastle (2½m, good to firm) in April. Hard to draw many positives from stable debut over hurdles 16 days ago.

Lost his way after hitting the frame in a novice/maiden at the end of last year and hasn't fared any better in handicaps following a breathing operation. In very capable hands as he now goes chasing but has plenty to prove back up in distance.

Has made a faultless start in handicaps, following up his Stratford (2¾m) victory in smooth style at Fontwell 3 days later before effortlessly cashing in on a lower mark over fences at Bangor 19 days ago, cruising clear. New mark has kicked in but he's open to lots of progress.

Long-standing maiden under Rules and hasn't returned in much form at Cartmel this summer.

Winless following 7 attempts over hurdles but opened chase account at the third attempt in good style at Musselburgh (2½m, good to soft) in February. 9 lb rise doesn't look prohibitive all things considered so much depends on whether he returns in that sort of form.

Improved from chase debut fitted with cheekpieces/tongue strap when second in a Cartmel handicap in June. Quick turnaround possibly caught him out over hurdles later that month and having had a breathing operation, he saw it out well over fences when second 3 weeks ago. Shortlisted.

Made a successful chasing debut on testing ground here in October. Has gone the wrong way since, however.
