November Handicap winner in 2024 and returned from 10-month absence to score at Epsom last September. Not been in same form more recently, though.
Responded to first-time cheekpieces when winning 8-runner handicap (6/4) at Pontefract (1¼m, good) 13 days ago. 4 lb higher now but ought to go well.
Back on scoreboard, in first-time cheekpieces, when taking 13-runner handicap at Epsom (1½m, soft) 84 days ago, running on. Remains feasibly treated and must enter calculations.
Acquitted himself well in all 3 starts this term, latest when good fourth of 17 in handicap at this course (1¼m, good to firm) 32 days ago, running on. Looks worth another crack at this longer trip.
Straightforward type who doubled his tally for the season when landing City & Suburban Handicap at Epsom in April. Not disgraced in defeat since but has little to play with off current mark.
Multiple winner on all-weather who showed best form on turf when very good third of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (1½m, good to firm, 125/1) 28 days ago. Claims if able to build on that.
Very useful staying handicapper at his best but hasn't reached that level in his 4 starts this year. Dropped down to a handy mark but is hard to back with confidence.
Scored on debut at Southwell and back to that sort of form when creditable sixth of 12 in handicap (11/2) at Kempton (1½m) 17 days ago, needing stronger gallop. Yet to prove himself on turf, though.
Has thrived for a change of scenery, completing the hat-trick in straightforward fashion over longer trip at Newbury last month. Winning run came to an end at Salisbury earlier this month, however, and the handicapper may have her measure now.

Forecasts
High Degree (2/1), Tony Montana (10/3), Too Soon (4/1), Green Sky (8/1), Oneforthegutter (11/1), Rathgar (12/1), Lord Melbourne (14/1), Classical Allusion (20/1), Haku (50/1)
This can go to TONY MONTANA, who ran a cracker in a much stronger contest here last month and remains fairly treated. Too Soon and High Degree rate the principal dangers.
