Cases can be made for several of these but the most persuasive is for MARCELLINUS, who has upped his game in handicaps this season and Tom Dascombe's 3-y-o is fancied to double his tally partnered by a promising 7-lb apprentice. U S S Charleston ran a cracker when runner-up in a big-field handicap at Glorious Goodwood last week, so he heads up the dangers down in grade, with Lequinto and Tenbob Tommy both in the mix for minor honours.
