Last 3 wins on the all-weather with latest success at Kempton last spring. Continued in good heart in strong handicaps on turf remainder of 2025 and while didn't step up with his reappearance behind him at Newcastle last time, this represents a pretty big drop in class.

Gained reward for consistency when landing big-field 6f handicap at Haydock in May 2025. Shaped well a few times later in the year but still 3 lb above that winning mark and has 8-month absence to overcome
Quirky type who doesn't have a great strike-rate in recent times but he has been shaping up quite well, racing in the wrong group when sixth of 10 at Newmarket 2 weeks ago. Straight 7f suits him well and he's very capable from this mark.
Bookended 2025 with victories at Newbury/Lingfield. Back to that sort of form when third on the Rowley Mile in April but 2 lesser runs have followed. He is now below last successful mark, at least.
Useful handicapper who returned with a good fourth in Spring Mile at this venue. Proved at least as good as ever when second of 11 at Thirsk (1m) and while she was well held in the Kensington Palace Stakes, this is more her grade. Well-run 7f will suit.
Kick-started 2026 with victory at Southwell (1m) in January and returned to form having edged back to that mark when second of 8 in handicap at Goodwood (1m, heavy) last month. Just a fair seventh over C&D since but that was a bunched finish.
Maiden/novice winner last summer before finding things tougher in a pair of Grade 2 contests. Back on track when making the frame in a Kempton Group 3 in September but fairly low-key start to his handicap career last month. Goes up in distance.
Dual 6f winner last year who posted career-best effort when second at York (7f) in May. That form hasn't really worked out, though, and he has been below par since.
Won a 6f Newmarket maiden last summer and ended his 2-y-o campaign with a good second in 7f Newcastle nursery in October (final start for Harry Charlton). Back on the up when good sixth of 22 in handicap at York (6f, good to firm, 100/1) and he shaped quite well back over 7f at Chester latest.

Forecasts
Akkadian Thunder (3/1), Yorkshire (4/1), Christian David (9/2), Talis Evolvere (5/1), Perfect Part (15/2), First Time (10/1), Kodi Lion (10/1), Egoli (20/1), Daydreama (40/1)
YORKSHIRE tasted success the last time he contested a handicap at this level so he's taken to make the most of this easier assignment and cash in on his lenient mark. Akkadian Thunder has been seriously expensive to follow in recent seasons but further place money looks on the cards, with First Time also of interest at the foot of the weights.
