Back-to-back winner over C&D/at Musselburgh last summer and better than ever when adding to his tally in 7-runner event at Pontefract (1m, good) 12 days ago, that despite pulling hard early in first-time cheekpieces. Needs to learn to settle but can go well again under a penalty.

Without a win since January 2025 but has made a positive return to turf this spring, finishing second on good to firm here (7f) and Redcar (1m, beaten a nose). Ended up poorly placed at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm) last time so best not judged on that effort.
Is on a handy mark and arrives after back-to-back placed efforts, going down by just a nose when second of 7 here (7f, firm) on the second of them last week. Expected to be bang there again.
Hasn't been the most consistent since opening her account in a 1m Musselburgh maiden last summer but turned in one of her better efforts when second of 11 at Ffos Las (1m, soft) last month. Nudged up 1 lb and needs to prove that wasn't a false dawn.
Ended last season with back-to-back wins at Wolverhampton and completed the hat-trick at Thirsk (7f) on return. Raised his game again to thwart a lightly-raced 3-y-o in 11-runner event at Hamilton (1m) just over 3 weeks ago and 3 lb rise unlikely to prove insurmountable in his current mood.
Bounced back to his best as he doubled his career tally in 12-runner event at Redcar (1m, good) just under a fortnight ago, both successes coming from a mark of 60. The suspicion is he'll prove vulnerable on the back of a 6 lb rise.
Underlined excellent start for his new yard when following up his Newbury victory off an unchanged mark at Yarmouth in May. Unable to land the hat-trick but clearly still at the top of his game when runner-up at Goodwood (9f, good to soft) 4 weeks ago and can regain the winning thread back at 1m.
On a long losing run but ran well when making the frame at Ayr/Carlisle in May. Well beaten at Redcar (7f, good) a fortnight ago, though this step up to a 1m looks the way to go. Worth a second look from a career-low mark.

Tilani (85/40), Al Muqdad (11/4), Amidst The Chaos (9/2), Yafaarr (7/1), Mwafaq (8/1), Straight A (11/1), Valentine Catcher (22/1), War Howl (25/1), Toralou (28/1)
Preference is for TILANI, who was a shade too keen when bidding for a hat-trick at Goodwood last month and quickly returned to 1m, Ian Williams' charge is fancied to regain the winning thread. Heading up the dangers is Amidst The Chaos, who posted an improved effort despite pulling hard himself in first-time cheekpieces when scoring at Pontefract recently. The in-form Mwafaq rounds off the shortlist.
