Scored at Sakhir (5f) in January. Off 4 months and shaped as if better for the run when tenth of 20 in the Dash at Epsom (5f) 12 days ago. Also not best drawn there and can take a step forward now.
Returned to form with a bang for new yard when landing 22-runner handicap at York (6f) in May. Only eleventh of 14 at Thirsk (6f) since but remains handily weighted if back on his A-game here.
Won first 2 starts but failed to kick on last season having been highly tried initially. Back from 4 months off with tenth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) in February and needs to take a big step forward after another lay-off here.
A 3-time winner in handicaps last year, scoring at Newcastle (5f) in November. Failed to land a blow in his first 3 starts this season though and unseated his rider at the start at Carlisle (6f) last time.
Building a very solid handicap record and he readily gained a deserved victory in 8-runner event at Newbury (6f) 7 days ago. Saddles a 5 lb penalty here but another bold showing is on the cards.
Produced his best effort for a while when scoring over C&D last month. Not seen to best effect on his last 2 runs, caught out wide when sixth of 11 at Carlisle (5f) on latter occasion. Needs considering in a headgear change.
Dual 6f winner for Roger Varian in 2025. Placed for the first time for current yard with third of 10 in handicap at Chester (6f) 5 days ago. No forlorn hope.

Forecasts
Wild Clary (10/11), Dark Thirty (5/1), Miraculous (11/2), Dark Cloud Rising (13/2), Strong Warrior (10/1), Another Baar (25/1), Vince L'Amour (33/1)
WILD CLARY arrives at the top of his game and is fancied to defy a 5 lb penalty for his comfortable Newbury success at the chief expense of Vince L'Amour who hasn't enjoyed the rub of the green of late and can bounce back to form here. Dark Thirty could also play a prominent role if shrugging aside an underwhelming effort at Thirsk.
