Three-time winner in 2025 (including over C&D) who showed benefit of a recent run in refitted blinkers when second of 9 in handicap at Chepstow (5f, soft) 7 days ago. That was his best effort of the season and a repeat gives him sound claims again.
Lightly-raced maiden who bettered anything achieved previously having eased in class when second at Thirsk (5f) 8 days ago, keeping on final 1f. Less exposed than most and respected for yard amongst the winners of late.
Consistent following gelding and breathing operations, shedding maiden tag in classified company at Wolverhampton in March. Good second there next time and further step forward when landing 13-runner handicap here (5.7f) 3 weeks ago. Respected on back of a 4 lb rise.
Still seeking first win following 18 attempts but went very close a couple of times on the all-weather early this year. Equipped with cheekpieces when a respectable fourth at Brighton (6f) 2 weeks ago but suspicion she'll find a couple too good again.
It's now seventeen runs since last win in 2025 (all victories gained on all-weather) and hasn't looked like bucking that tend in recent months. Assessor continues to relinquish his grip at least.
C&D winner who scored on heavy ground at Chepstow (5f) last summer. Not yet threatened in 2 starts so far this campaign but another who has been cut further slack by the assessor.
Dual 6f winner for Ivan Furtado last autumn but well held in pair of turf handicaps at Chepstow in recent weeks upon joining new yard.
C&D winner who was largely consistent at a low level either side of resuming winning ways at Chepstow this time last year. Likely she'll strip fitter for last month's reappearance third and isn't out of things from this sort of mark.
Lightly-raced sort who landed 5f Chepstow maiden in August. Posted a fairly encouraging effort after a 6-month absence when fifth at Nottingham (5f) in April and presumably not 100% when always behind over 5.7f here 3 weeks ago. This can reveal more with cheekpieces now reached for.
C&D winner who ended a losing run over 6f at Wolverhampton in January and arrives on the back of 2 in-the-frame efforts over 5.7f here of late. The fact he's raced with little fluency on each occasion however tempers enthusiasm now back at the minimum trip.
Three-time C&D winner who fared better than of late having rejoined former yard when third in 9-runner classified contest here (5.7f) 8 days ago. May sharpen up for that given it was his first start for 8 weeks but losing run stretches back to 2024.
Looks very limited on early evidence, never involved after 8 months off here in May.
Showed more than previously this year when third at Brighton last month and suggested she remains in form without being seen to best effect in the closing stages when sixth of 9 in classified company here (5.7f) 8 days ago. However, others preferred back in a handicap.
Losing run stretches back to 2022 and hard to warm to judged on recent exploits.

SON OF ASTAR was successful in much stronger company than this last season and having turned in his best effort of the year when second at Chepstow last week, he could well be ready to strike. Legendsoftheland arrives on the back of success over further here last time and is feared, with Harry Mole and Darkened Edge others to consider.
