Has been in fine form, successful on all-weather at Newcastle and Lingfield and worn down only in the shadow of the post at Wolverhampton last time. Another 4 lb rise to deal with now switched to turf but he still needs considering.

Bred to stay further but clearly not short of speed, runner-up over 6f at Windsor last month. Didn't look an easy ride when last of 4 over same C&D 2 weeks ago and now down at 5f for handicap debut fitted with cheekpieces.

Made it 3 wins from her last 3 visits to Southwell in April, again showing a good attitude. Did enough on the grass at Lingfield 3 weeks ago to think she's as effective on turf.

Got off the mark at Wolverhampton (5f) in February but went backwards in a couple of starts after for Martin Dunne and no upturn in her fortunes for new yard on turf 2 weeks ago.

Allotted a tough mark after winning an all-weather novice in October and has struggled to make an impact in handicaps. Hood on for the first time.

Forecasts

I'm Dan Dare (5/2), Enter Sandman (10/3), Life After Love (5/1), Percy's Star (6/1), Nebbia (13/2), Bessie Wallis (12/1), Davorge Nation (12/1), Love Alive (20/1)

Verdict

Assuming the removal of cheekpieces doesn't have a negative effect, I'M DAN DARE looks the way to go having turned a Catterick handicap into a one-sided affair on debut for Mark Walford last week (that race is already working out). Enter Sandman is a big threat if translating his all-weather form to turf, with Life After Love another to consider.
