Cavani Signature Style Handicap

Back on track when second at Kempton on penultimate start. Unable to repeat that back on turf when well held at Ripon (1¼m, good) 25 days ago. Back up in trip but others appeal more.

Lightly-raced maiden. Took a step forward when second of 11 in handicap at Nottingham (1¼m, good to soft, 13/2) 14 days ago. A likely player on tapeta debut.

Showed fair form in maiden at Salisbury in May. Failed to match that on handicap debut at Windsor (11.4f, good to firm) 15 days ago. More required.

Lightly-raced maiden. 12/1, good fourth of 9 on handicap bow at Kempton (1½m) 33 days ago. Chance of another minor role.

Much improved since sent handicapping, winning over C&D and at Bath just 5 days apart in May. Steps back up in trip and has to be taken seriously from a 13 Ib higher mark in hat-trick bid.

Modest maiden. Showed little switched to handicaps at Ripon 25 days ago. Improvement required upped significantly in trip on first tapeta run.

Has looked a hard ride but made the frame first 3 starts this season at this course. 11/1, below form fifth of 9 in handicap at Doncaster (1¼m, good to firm) in April. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.

No impact in novice/maiden company last year and yet to fully convince this season despite finishing third both starts in handicaps. Minor role most likely again.
