Confirmed promise shown in maiden/novice company when winning nurseries for Simon & Ed Crisford at Musselburgh and over this C&D last season. Shaped well on return/yard debut when fifth in a C&D handicap last month, weakening only late on, and she's considered with an outing now under her belt.
Had a busy and productive campaign last year, winning twice at Hamilton and adding a 5f York nursery in the autumn. Has confirmed himself at least as good at 3 yrs when making the frame in handicaps on his last 2 starts, latterly at Hamilton a fortnight ago, and he should give another good account.
Got off the mark in a novice at Redcar (5f) in June before a fine third to the subsequent Gimcrack winner at Thirsk. Fine fourth in strong nursery at Doncaster (6f, good) in September and shaped as if needing the run on recent York comeback. Good type physically and should still do well at 3 yrs.
Took a big step forward with each run at 2 yrs, culminating with him landing the odds in facile fashion in a 4-runner Ripon maiden (6f, good). Changed hands during his 8-month absence (left George Boughey) and he's open to improvement now handicapping.
Got off the mark in a 4-runner maiden at Musselburgh (5f, good to firm) last July and by no means disgraced in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury later that month. Plugged on into fourth in a 14-runner C&D handicap on return but others still look better treated.
Improved to get off the mark at Bath earlier this month and came home late after looking uncomfortable with the early pace to follow up in an 8-runner handicap (3/1) at Haydock (5f, good to soft) last week. That was an improved effort and he should get another strong pace to aim at here.
Got off the mark in maiden at Ayr (5.5f, good) last July and runner-up 3 times in handicaps since, showing improved form when going down by a neck (and clear of rest) on 6f Ripon reappearance. Checked out as if amiss at Hamilton 2 weeks ago though, so bit to prove on the back of that.
Has run well on both starts since making a winning return at Southwell and ran well when in the frame on his next 2 outings. No obvious excuse when disappointing at Chester last time, though, so needs to bounce back.
Finished 2025 by landing back-to-back nurseries at Newcastle, having a bit more in hand than the half-length margin suggests when last seen there in December. Absent since but he's effective on turf and merits a market check from 2 lb higher.
Won at Southwell last November but proved too free when last of 4 in a nursery at Newcastle the following month. Looked less than straightforward when down the field behind Noble Vow at Haydock on return (albeit having raced too close to the pace) and others make more appeal.
Shaped really encouragingly from a long way back when third at Southwell on return and again left the impression he can win from this sort of mark when filling the same position at Beverley 4 weeks ago, finishing well after being forced to angle around rivals. Makes appeal.
Won a C&D novice second time up as a juvenile but failed to build on it thereafter at 2 yrs. Shaped as if needing the run when 9 lengths fifth of 8 to Noble Vow in handicap (22/1) at Haydock (5f, good to soft) 8 days ago but others still preferred.

Noble Vow (7/2), Go Vince Go (4/1), Explosive Finnish (5/1), Big Fun (5/1), Mighty Magnus (17/2), Dazzling Haze (12/1), Here Forever (12/1), Henrythenate (12/1), Kinnalargy (14/1), Ambishio (16/1), Under The Radar (22/1), Straight Ahead (28/1), Sands Of Josepi (50/1)
EXPLOSIVE FINNISH has shaped really well without being seen to maximum effect on both starts this year and he gets the verdict in a competitive sprint. Dazzling Haze showed up well until the lack of a recent outing seemed to tell over C&D on her return and she is also shortlisted alongside last week's Haydock winner Noble Vow.
