Won a 7f fast-ground maiden for the Gosdens last July. Might have needed his first outing for a new yard after 9 months off when 7 lengths sixth of 10 in 8.5f Epsom handicap 3 weeks ago.

900,000 gns yearling from a very good family. Didn't make it to the track until last autumn but displayed plenty of promise, accounting for subsequent 2-time winner My Fermoy in maiden at Nottingham (8.3f, good to soft) on final start. His draw isn't ideal but he could be well ahead of his mark.
Improved on all-weather at the end of 2025, landing a pair of 1m Newcastle handicaps and close second at Southwell in December. Might have needed a recent outing at Beverley after a break and can fare better now for a yard among the winners.
Winner of 7 races in a remarkable 2-month spell last summer. Yet to fire in 3 outings this year and best watched until showing more positive signs.
Has just a 2024 novice win to his name but he's still low mileage and took a step back in the right direction when third of 11 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good) 11 days ago. Contender if he can build on that.
Has performed no more than respectably in 2 comeback outings this spring and remains 2 lb above the mark he defied at Newcastle last autumn.
Ended a losing run at Southwell (1m) in December and suited by the sound gallop when making a winning return to turf at Wetherby (1m, good) last month. Backed that up when runner-up at Thirsk (1m again) on Saturday. Player if coping with the quick turnaround.
This 3-time C&D winner is very much at the veteran stage but that hasn't prevented a couple of other stable stalwarts from winning this spring and recent placed efforts at Pontefract and Ripon suggest this 11-y-o can follow suit before long.
Veteran who landed a ninth course success when easily seeing off 8 rivals over this trip at last year's Western Meeting but has offered little in his 2 outings this season. It remains to be seen whether a return to Ayr sparks a revival.
Enjoyed a tremendous 2025, winning 3 C&D handicaps. Never involved on C&D reappearance 15 days ago but entitled to strip fitter now.
Edged down the weights last season for Eve Johnson Houghton. Shaped better than the result on first 2 outings for Jim Goldie but never involved at Musselburgh last time.

Hale End (15/8), Return To Unit (11/4), Degale (7/1), Kaleido (8/1), Sir Paul Ramsey (10/1), Mr Mistoffelees (11/1), Geo (12/1), Jannas Journey (12/1), Garden Oasis (16/1), Priapos (28/1), Redarna (33/1), Penelope's Sister (33/1)
Roger Varian handicap newcomer RETURN TO UNIT appeals as one who can make up for lost time in 2026. Degale is another with relatively few miles on the clock and is second choice on the back of an encouraging effort at Nottingham. Last weekend's Thirsk runner-up Hale End and likeable veteran Garden Oasis complete the shortlist.
