Last 2 wins have come over this C&D. Creditable third of 8 in handicap over C&D (good to firm, 6/1) 11 days ago under a positive ride. Has to be taken seriously from an appealing mark.

Useful earlier in his career but is on a losing run stretching back nearly 2 years. 14/1, ninth of 12 in handicap at Doncaster (1m, good to firm) on return 9 days ago. This C&D winner is now on a career-low mark.

C&D winner. Shaped with a little more promise than of late when sixth of 8 in a C&D handicap (good to firm, 9/1) 11 days ago. She can't be completely ruled out from her current mark.

Capitalised on a much-reduced mark to make a winning return at Nottingham (8.3f) before backing that up when second Leicester (1¼m) despite not being seen to best effect from a wide draw. Hasn't had much luck with the draw again but can give another good account in current form.

11/1, shaped encouragingly when third of 14 in handicap at Newcastle (1m) 14 days ago, away much better before having to pick way through. Has been let down by his starting and does most of his running on the all-weather, but is of interest on the back of that recent effort nevertheless.

Hit the target at Doncaster last April but spent the second half of the season in the doldrums and he's opposable on debut for new yard (also gelded since last seen).

Latest win came at Redcar (1¼m) in October from a 1 Ib lower mark. 12/1, respectable fifth of 9 in handicap over C&D (good to firm) 11 days ago, needing stiffer test. There's a chance this trip is on the sharp side nowadays but should at least get a fast pace to aim at.

Registered sixth course success last summer but largely struggled thereafter. Probably needed the run when down the field over C&D (good, 40/1) on return 19 days ago. This trip is possibly on the sharp side.

Winner of this race last year from a 5 Ib higher mark. Proved he retains ability when second of 9 in handicap (8/1) over C&D (good to firm) 11 days ago. Appeals as one for the shortlist.

Continues to disappoint since sent handicapping, failing to beat a rival in 4 starts this season. Makes little appeal as a betting prospect at present.

Course winner. Is on a long losing run and finished well held on both starts this season. Can be overlooked at present.

Possibly needed run when 12 lengths ninth of 10 to Evelyn's Phoenix in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good to soft, 10/1) 16 days ago. Goes without usual headgear here. Long-standing maiden who can be opposed.

A maiden after 18 runs. 10/1 and in first-time visor, sixth of 8 in handicap at Catterick (1¾m, good to firm) 12 days ago. Is refitted with blinkers (proved too free when last in them) and is hard to make a case for back at this much shorter trip.

Remains a maiden after 24 runs. 150/1, fared better than for a while when fifth of 9 in handicap at Pontefract (1m, good) 5 days ago, making late gains. Is turned out again quickly and it remains to be seen if he can back that up.
