Two-time winner last season who looked as good as ever returning for new yard when resuming winning ways in a 7f handicap here 2 weeks ago. Showed a willing attitude to edge a tight finish then and there could yet be more to come from him as a 4-y-o.
Steadily eased in the weights this year and he capitalised on his easiest task for a while to end losing run at Catterick (6f) 10 days ago, edging ahead late on. Nudged up just 1 lb and possibilities again now he's found the winning habit again.
Successful 5 times over this 6f trip in 2025, including over C&D. Has returned in good order, runner up at Catterick prior to finishing midfield in 16-runner handicap at Ripon (6f) last month. Fancied to be in the mix.
Four wins from 14 runs last year but possible he needed first start for 6 months when eleventh at Ripon (6f) 16 days ago. Finds himself operating just 1 lb above last winning mark and entitled to be sharper now.
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who found further progress when off the mark in a Wolverhampton novice (6f) in March. Not in same form when down the field on C&D handicap debut 2 weeks ago but that experience ought not to have been wasted on him. Hood on 1st time.
A dual 6f scorer in 2025 who resumed from 5 months off with a good fourth of 11 in 6f handicap at Newcastle in March. Easy enough to excuse his subsequent Doncaster run (raced on unfavoured far side) and better showing certainly not ruled out.
Losing run now closing in on 2 years but far from disgraced despite not being seen to best effect when seventh in a big field handicap on return at Ripon (6f) 16 days ago. Entitled to come forward from that and he's lurking on a very dangerous mark if putting it all together.
Course winner who tasted success 4 times during 2025, latterly at Redcar (6f) in October. Not at best when seventh at Newcastle on final start the following month though, and this first start for 5 months may well bring him on
Multiple 5f winner who proved largely consistent without getting his head in front during 2024. Absent since finishing down the field at Beverley on final outing that year and market best guide on belated return for new stable.

Forecasts
Kosometsuke (10/3), Aberama Gold (7/2), Mister Sox (4/1), Kats Bob (9/2), Rock Opera (6/1), Emperor Caradoc (16/1), Mr Dreamseller (16/1), Sugar Baby (16/1), Khabib (40/1)
KOSOMETSUKE showed a willing attitude and looked as good as ever in the process when making a winning debut for Michael Dods over 7f here 2 weeks ago. It's feasible to think there could be more to come from the son of Kodiac, including returned to sprinting, and he shades preference over Catterick scorer Aberama Gold and the potentially well-handicapped Rock Opera.
