Won over C&D in December and shaped as though better for the run when only sixth of 11 here 39 days ago on his return from a 3-month break. Entitled to come on for that outing, and with the yard and Jason Hart having combined successfully recently, he enters calculations.

Opened his account in classified company over C&D in January and has been narrowly beaten on each of his last 2 starts, at Kempton and over 7f here. Oisin Murphy now booked and bold bid expected in first-time cheekpieces.
Landed back-to-back C&D handicaps in October. Form has been rather up and down since the turn of the year, running poorly over 7f here 18 days ago. Yard going well of late and below last winning mark but needs to bounce back all the same.
Lightly-raced maiden who has posed little threat at long odds in novice events and handicaps, including on turf debut last time. Returns to all-weather with first-time blinkers replacing cheekpieces.
A 3-time C&D winner, including an 11-runner classified event last month. Back in handicap company for the first time this year off a workable mark but will likely need a career best to follow up.
Went the wrong way in Ireland last year but got back on track when runner-up on his second start for this yard at Kempton in February. Not ideally placed upped in trip here last time and now quickly back at a proven distance, though others make more appeal.
Veteran handicapper who has won 3 times over C&D in the past and won twice at a lesser level at Wolverhampton last year. Has had excuses when below form on last 2 starts but others more appealing for win purposes.
Long-standing maiden who ran best race for some time when runner-up in a classified event at Lingfield in February. Well below that level both starts since, including back in a handicap last time.
On a lengthy losing run, but posted one of her better efforts when third in a Nottingham handicap on return from a 7-month absence 11 days ago. Consistency has never been her strong suit, though, and this looks more competitive.
Without a win in 14 runs and continues to be held back by his slow-starting ways, not revived by a switch to more prominent tactics last time. Hard to fancy racing from 1 lb out of the handicap.
Long-standing maiden who ended time with Brian Rothwell out of sorts and has shown no promise in 2 outings for this yard. Races from 1 lb out of the weights.

TIMELY AFFAIR won over C&D in January and has shaped as though another success is not far away when runner-up on his last 2 starts. The booking of Oisin Murphy catches the eye and he is taken to make the most of this opportunity. Ribston Pippin rates the main danger, while Heretic, a dual C&D winner last year, should be better suited by the return to this trip.
