Five wins in excellent 2025, including over 9f here. Shot up the weights as a result but was placed off this mark on her penultimate start last year. Should be competitive if ready to roll after 6 months off.
Made a positive start for his new stable when going down by only a neck in 12-runner handicap at Newcastle (all-weather) last month, faring best of those ridden prominently. Just as effective on turf. Likely to go well from a handy draw.
Best effort on all-weather since joining John Butler when third of 12 at Lingfield (7f) on Good Friday. Has handicapping scope if able to build on that now back on the grass.
Enjoyed a remarkable 2025 when a six-time winner. Returned with a fine second of 12 over 9f here 14 days ago, suggesting he's set for another productive campaign. A must for the shortlist.
Scored at Newcastle (1m) in January. Placed twice there in March but never involved back on turf here a fortnight ago.
Twice a winner last term and made a good return to action when going down by only a head at Pontefract (1m, soft) 19 days ago. Has to enter calculations.
On a long losing run and no obvious sign he's about to snap it when last of 8 on Ripon reappearance 10 days ago.
C&D scorer who added 3 more wins to his tally last year, ending his campaign with a defeat of 9 rivals at Ayr (1m, good to soft) in October. Has yet to win first time out so perhaps best watched this time.
First past the post at Wolverhampton (8.6f) last month (demoted after impeding a rival late on). Shaped well again when third of 9 at Newcastle (1m) a week later. Just as effective on turf. Drawn wider than ideal for a prominent racer but still can't be discounted.
Opened his account in a 7f Ayr handicap (good to firm) last summer. Below-form fourth over 1m there the following month and off since. Might need this first run of the season.
Won over 9f here last July. More miss than hit later in 2025 but was third over C&D on last year's reappearance.
Fair maiden for Marcus Tregoning. Seventh in 3 handicaps over 6f/7f since joining Jim Goldie but remains one who could click for this yard before long. The step back up in trip may also be in his favour.
Won a 1m handicap on soft ground at last year's Galway Festival for Dermot Weld. Shaped better than the bare result when eighth of 12 in 7f Wolverhampton handicap on return for new yard 16 days ago, finishing with running left from too far back. On a good mark on his Irish form.

Forecasts
Dwindling Funds (9/4), Harry The Rogue (13/2), Flying Fletcher (13/2), Swift Salian (15/2), Eazy On The Eye (9/1), Madame De Sevigne (9/1), Two B Tanned (10/1), Tilani (11/1), Ashen (12/1), Barley (25/1), Native Honey (40/1), Detective (50/1), Ayr Poet (50/1)
HARRY THE ROGUE shaped well in a competitive handicap at Newcastle on his first start for Stephen Hanlon and, from a good draw, is narrowly preferred to Dwindling Funds, whose excellent second on his course reappearance a fortnight ago suggests he could improve again in 2026. Tilani and Swift Salian complete the shortlist.
