Improved when opening his account in 1¼m Newcastle handicap last week and will have a serious chance under a penalty if able to back that up now returned to turf.

Built on previous promise to notch back-to-back victories at around 1m last month. Continued the good work returned to turf when finding just one too good at Nottingham and he needs considering.

Held back by inexperience when third on debut here in September but has failed to build on that in 2 subsequent starts and needs to raise his game now pitched into a handicap.

Fair maiden who went close in 7f Southwell novice last September but hasn't run close to that form in her 3 outings since. Others look stronger.

Showed a bit more returning from 3 months off (gelded in the interim) when fourth of 6 in first-time visor at Chelmsford (1¼m) last month. Subsequent Southwell effort wasn't up to much, though, and needs to take a step forward now handicapping in first-time blinkers.

Appears to be gradually improving with experience and wasn't beaten at all far when third in a 5-runner Wolverhampton novice (9.5f) back from a break last month. Hood enlisted for this handicap/turf debut and she should be in the mix.

Runner up on first 2 starts and wasn't disgraced in a first-time visor (retained) switched to turf on handicap debut at Nottingham (8.3f, good to soft). Key player.

Didn't show much in trio of novice events at up to a mile but he's in good hands and better is expected now that he ventures down the handicap route.

Didn't shown enough in 5 starts for Ollie Sangster last year to suggest that she'll play a leading role in this contest.
