Off the mark on fourth start for Mick Applebly at Southwell in December. Bettered that when striking on second run for present yard at Wolverhampton (6f) last week and he'll be a threat under a penalty if able to reproduce that form back on turf.
Back-to-back winner of 6f handicaps for Hugo Palmer last summer but signed 2024 campaign off on a downer and probably best watched for new yard following a 7-month absence.
Winner of 9 of his 38 starts on the all-weather but he's not so prolific on turf, on which he's won just one of his 21 appearances. However, he went close latest run on grass at Windsor in September and reproduction of that would give him a strong chance in this contest.
Notched second win here when landing a soft ground 5f handicap in October. Failed to fire on the all-weather the following month, though, and she looks vulnerable off this mark back from a 165-day break.
Won twice at 2 yrs and while he drew a blank in 2025, this 4-y-o has slipped to an attractive mark and he has made the frame in all-weather handicaps the last twice. Place possibilities.
Proved at least as good as ever as she made a winning reappearance at Wolverhampton (5f) last month. Followed that with a creditable third over the same C&D recently and this multiple C&D winner is certainly not without a chance.
Resumed winning ways at Chester last summer during a productive 2025 campaign. Conditions in his favour and will be a threat if fully tuned-up following a 6-month absence.
Losing run stretches back to July 2024 but he was placed on several occasions last year, including when going close off this mark at Windsor in August. Has won when fresh in the past and could have a say if raring to go.
Winner of 6f Salisbury handicaps either side of registering his first all-weather success at Chelmsford last season. Several creditable efforts in defeat thereafter and reappearance third at Kempton last month was another decent display. Each-way shout.
Scored off 2 lb higher at Southwell during his stint with James Owen and put in a good shift on first run since rejoining former yard when runner-up at Wolverhampton (6f). However, failed to build on that next time and looks vulnerable.
Won twice over the minimum trip here in 2023 and opened 2025 account when landing a heavy-ground Chepstow handicap in September. However, wasn't at her best thereafter and she was safely held in this race on her reappearance last season.

JUSTCALLMEPETE's most recent efforts haven't been among his best but he's nevertheless interesting here given that he was just touched off at Windsor on his final run on turf last year. The 7-y-o gets the nod ahead of Strike, who is an appealing each-way option. Recent Wolverhampton scorer Hunky Dory is officially 2 lb 'well-in' under a penalty and he has to be feared, while the likes of Aces Wild and Mr Lightside could also have a say.
