Won a newcomers race on polytrack at Deauville (6.5f; made all) last October and might have been unsuited by very testing ground when well held in a listed race on turf back in France 17 days later. First outing for 5 months.
Promising winning start to his career in 9-runner novice at Lingfield (6f, all-weather) 19 days ago, pushed out. Useful prospect.
Shaped well on Chelmsford debut last June and built on that when convincing winner of a 6f Newmarket maiden 3 weeks later. Off since. Definitely more to come from her.
Al Kazeem gelding. Half-brother to 6f-9f winner Haughmond and 2-y-o 1m winner Lady Erimus. Dam, unraced, closely related to high-class 1m-1½m winner Blazing Speed. Probably best watched on debut.
Shaped well when placed in 2 outings over 6f for Lucinda Russell & Michael Scudamore last September. Could go on to even better things for James Fanshawe this year.
Territories gelding. Brother to winner up to 1m With Love and half-brother to 2-y-o 7f-9f winner Youmzain Star and 7f winner The Third Star. Bred to have a future but a watching brief is the percentage call on debut.
420,000 gns Blue Point colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including high-class 5f-7f winner Oxted and smart 5f/6f winner Chipstead. Dam winner up to 6f (2-y-o 5f winner). Wears tongue strap. A very interesting newcomer.
Down the field in a pair of 6f maidens on all-weather last month.
Territories gelding. Dam 7f winner out of useful 2-y-o 5f winner (would probably have stayed 1m) Salsa Brava. One of 2 newcomers for connections.
Signs of ability in 2 turf outings last backend but likely more one for handicaps after this.
Only modest form in 2 all-weather outings for Charlie Appleby in December. Sold for 14,000 gns in February. Best to look elsewhere.
Dream Ahead filly. Sister to useful winner up to 6f Antonella and half-sister to several winners, including useful winner up to 7f Excellent Times. Dam 5.5f winner. Most from the stable are better for a run.
28/1, last of 7 in maiden at Ayr (6f, good to firm) on debut last June. Returns for a new after leaving Mick Appleby.

Forecasts
Crimson Rose (5/2), Nevasca Cinza (11/4), Aigeas (11/4), Westport (7/2), Railwayman (6/1), Percy's Star (66/1), Dreamadera (100/1), Wild Act (100/1), Moonlight Angel (100/1), Sun Of Dolly (125/1), Blazing Sam (125/1), Squashy Berry (150/1), Romeo's Guardian (200/1)
CRIMSON ROSE hasn't been seen since her Newmarket maiden win last July but appeals as one who can make up for lost time and is preferred to Westport, who created a good impression when scoring on his all-weather debut last month. Nevasca Cinza also has the form to figure, while very well-bred newcomer Railwayman would also firmly enter the reckoning if the betting suggests he's fancied.
- Crimson Rose5/2
- Westport7/2
- Nevasca Cinza11/4
