Scored at Catterick on debut last summer and showed improved form when runner-up in novice events at Ripon and Southwell. Remains unexposed now making handicap debut after 7 months off, though draw in Stall 1 isn't ideal.
Successful twice in 2025 but he's not straightforward, regularly starting slowly and refusing to race at Newcastle in January. Produced one of his better efforts when third in a 19-runner Doncaster handicap (6f, good to soft) 2 weeks ago but far from certain to back that up.
Ended time with John Patrick Murtagh in good form and returned for new yard when going down only on the nod in a 6-runner handicap at Newcastle (5f, 33/1) 24 days ago. Type this yard does well with and she's shortlisted.
On top late in the day when resuming winning ways at Chester (5f, heavy) in September and placed on 2 of his 3 starts later that season. Travelled well for a long way when third of 12 in handicap at this C&D (soft, 7/1) 8 days ago. Not taken lightly with that under his belt.
Capitalised on his falling mark when striking at Thirsk in August and added to that when seeing off 12 rivals at Catterick (5f, good to firm) a month later. Bit below par on final outings last year and others make more appeal after 6 months off.
Winner at Sandown (5f) last summer for Michael Appleby and went close over that same C&D on debut for current yard. Looked rusty returning from 4 months off at Southwell last time and blinkers now reapplied.
Won at Bath around this time last year for Des Donovan but rather lost his way for that yard. Looked back in form when a close fourth at Newcastle (5f) on return/yard debut 16 days ago and is respected with that under his belt.
C&D winner on final start in 2024 and also scored at Thirsk last summer. Ended last season out of sorts (though saddle slipped last time) but she did go close on return in 2025, so not fully discounted.
Hold-up sort typically needs things to drop right for him but he has 3 C&D victories to his name, though he never really looked like adding to that tally when ninth of 12 here last week. Now back at last winning mark.
Knocking on door prior to scoring at Musselburgh (5f) in October but failed to back it up in a pair of 5f handicaps at Leicester and Newmarket subsequently. Shaped as if better for the run when mid-field at Doncaster 2 week ago and holds frame claims with that under his belt.
Three-time winner for Jim Goldie in 2025, the latest coming at Newcastle in December. In better heart than form figures suggested subsequently and he's interesting making debut for new yard after 98-day break at C&D where he has won before.
Remains a maiden but he shaped most encouragingly in spite of a troubled passage when runner-up a 12-runner C&D handicap (soft) 8 days ago. Remains unexposed as a sprinter and he can go one better from same mark.
Back to winning ways at Hamilton (5f) in September and returned with a creditable fourth over the same trip at Doncaster 2 weeks ago. Goes well on a softer surface and isn't fully ruled out, for all he's drawn lower than ideal.
Won at Newcastle in February and holds claims on that form, but he reportedly bled when disappointing there at the start of March. Low draw also tempers enthusiasm, for all he has form on a softer surface.
Veteran who made a winning debut for this yard at Haydock (5f) in September. Placed twice at Newcastle this winter but ran poorly when only at eighth at C&D 8 days ago.
Quirky sort who hit a purple patch last summer, winning 3 times at Hamilton/Ayr in June and July. Underlined how much of a handful he can be when well held final 2 starts of year though and proved typically headstrong when down the field here on return last week. Cheekpieces back on.
Quirky type who placed a few times last summer and autumn for Alice Haynes. Yet to threaten in 5 starts for current connections, tenth of 12 in a C&D handicap last week, and he's probably only of any interest if the market speaks favourably.

Montezuma (5/2), Kinetic Force (4/1), Al Hussar (11/2), Northern Spirit (7/1), Zarzyni (10/1), Emerald Harmony (14/1), South Parade (14/1), Pop Star (16/1), Arnhem (20/1), Lion's House (20/1), Vince L'Amour (22/1), Equity Law (25/1), Right And Exact (33/1), Impressor (33/1), Blind Beggar (33/1), Jm Jhingree (40/1), Classy Al (50/1)
MONTEZUMA would have given the winner something to think about granted a clearer passage over C&D last week and looks well placed to go on better from an unchanged mark. Al Hussar finished a place behind the selection in that race and can be expected to have sharpened up for the run, whilst Emerald Harmony ran an encouraging race on her stable debut and is also shortlisted.
