Relished testing conditions when opening account at Salisbury (1¼m) in September. Backed that up when second at Newbury next time, but only modest form in 2 starts over hurdles since. Has had breathing operation ahead of first run since leaving Roger Teal.
Back in headgear for first time since 2023, resumed winning ways in decisive fashion at Newcastle last month. Remains on a workable mark (successful from 2 lb higher last summer), so he can make his presence felt.
Mainly campaigned on all-weather nowadays but he's effective on turf, running well when fourth of 13 at this course (1¾m) 8 days ago. Cheekpieces now the choice of headgear and should get a strong pace to aim at back down in trip.
Resumed winning ways at Newcastle last summer, before landing a share of the spoils at Chester on his next outing. Hasn't been seen to best effect on his last 2 starts, suffering trouble in running back at Newcastle on his return.
Useful handicapper at his best for Sir Michael Stoute. Without a win when trained by Kevin Ryan last year, running below-par at Kempton on final outing in October, but he lurks on a dangerous mark as he makes seasonal/stable debut.
Making second start for current yard, was only narrowly denied in a Goodwood handicap (1¾m) last spring. However, he failed to kick on subsequently, well beaten tried over hurdles at Fakenham when last seen in October.
Hurdles winner last spring, before doubling his tally in this sphere with a commanding success at York (2m) in July. Found it tougher on the Knavesmire in 3 subsequent outings, though, last of 16 to end the campaign in October. Has had breathing operation since.
Improved form towards the end of last season as she moved up in trip, opening account at Nottingham (1¼m) in October and following up over this C&D only 13 days later. Unexposed at this distance and she's a major player on return.
Form took off last summer and first past the post at Doncaster's St Leger meeting to end the campaign, though later disqualified. Good effort upped in grade when third back at Doncaster on return 2 weeks ago. Merits consideration.
Dual-purpose performer who recorded a third C&D success last summer, though ended the season with a lesser effort here (2¼m) having been slowly away. Has gone well fresh in the past but needed his first run back in 2025.
Much improved since going back on all-weather in handicaps, making it 2 wins from his last 3 starts when battling well for success in 7-runner contest at Southwell in February. Task is now to transfer that form to turf.
Winner over 1¾m at Redcar in November and has shaped well back at 1¼m when placed at Newcastle 2 of 3 starts this year, going close last time despite the steady gallop. Return to this longer distance should suit.
Winless for Antony Brittain but hit the target 3 times for current yard last season. Little impact in a trio of maiden hurdles in December/start of this year, but back on the Flat he bounced back to winning ways at Wolverhampton 23 days ago.
Proved consistent in 2025, digging deep for success at Carlisle in July, and after 6 months off he ran well when second of 8 at Newcastle in March. Back up in grade but can give his running once more.

VELVET WHISPER progressed again making her first start at this distance when scoring here in November and she can pick up where she left off to land the hat-trick. She gets the vote ahead of Ludo's Landing, who isn't handicapped out of things following his success at Newcastle last time, with Say What You See also in the mix.

- Ludo's Landing20/1
