First run since leaving Willie Mullins when encouraging third of 11 in handicap (28/1) at Newcastle (1m) on reappearance 17 days ago, first home in group. Considered.
Struggled last year after a maiden win in the spring but more encouraging signs when sixth of 22 in the Spring Mile at Doncaster (good to soft, 66/1) on reappearance 10 days ago. Needs to show he can string good efforts together now.
Winner at Beverley (good to soft) on last year's reappearance and returns off an identical mark. Has to enter calculations.
Ended 2025 with a small-field win at Lingfield (9f, good to firm) in August. Still on a competitive mark but no great record when fresh.
Three all-weather wins last year. Creditable fifth of 12 in handicap (25/1) at Newcastle (1m) 11 days ago, met some trouble. This is his first turf outing since 2023.
Reached the frame in 2 all-weather handicaps for James Ferguson early last year but down the field on both starts for Ivan Furtado. Returns from a further 133 days off with something to prove.
Lightly-raced maiden. Promise when second on C&D handicap debut last July. Below par at Lingfield later that month and not seen since. Retains unexposed potential on return and it'll be interesting to see what the betting makes of him.
Arrives fit from hurdles (placed in ordinary handicaps both completed starts since joining Mark Walford) ahead of this first Flat outing in nearly 2 years. Cheekpieces on first time.
This veteran added 2 more wins last year but has never won first time out in his long career.

Forecasts
Kokanee (2/1), Alpha Capture (5/2), Zowal (5/1), Urban Road (9/1), Not Me (10/1), Uppercase (12/1), Character Testing (25/1), Typical Woman (25/1), Poet's Dawn (33/1)
ALPHA CAPTURE gets the nod to build on a promising first run for the Roger Fell stable on all-weather last month. Kokanee won off this mark on his 2025 reappearance so must enter the reckoning, while the lightly-raced Uppercase should also have a say if recapturing the form he showed when second on his C&D handicap debut last summer.
