C&D winner but he came in last of 7 in conditions event at Saint Moritz (6.5f) 27 days ago. Thoroughly unreliable.
Smart gelding who was a four-time winner last year, signing off with a Group 3 success at Dundalk in October. Well below par both runs thist term though, last of 8 on his dirt debut at Jebel Ali last month. Handily weighted if back on his A-game here though.
C&D winner but she has been off the track since failing to beat a rival in Ballyogan Stakes at Naas (6f) 6 months ago. Has won off a break though.
A fairly useful 5f/6f scorer in 2025 for Archie Watson. Not seen out for 6 months however so has his fitness to prove for his new stable. Cheekpieces go back on.
A fairly useful dual 5f winner (for Stefano Botti) in Italy who was much improved after 4 months off/gelded when readily landing handicap over C&D 17 days ago. Up 6 lb but a player once more.
C&D winner last July and in good form after until facing a very stiff task in Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp in October. Won on his seasonal return in 2025 so can't be discounted.
Resumed his progress for his new yard (formerly with Mark Usher) with stylish success in 14-runner handicap at Newcastle (5f) last month. Well in the mix despite taking a 7 lb rise.
Thrived last autumn and completed a hat-trick in 5f handicap at Wolverhampton in November. Posted a good second of 6 in 5f listed event at Lingfield last month. Very much one to consider back in handicap company.
Improved to land back-to-back 6f handicaps at Windsor and Ascot last autumn. Tailed-off last of 12 in 6f Doncaster handicap in October when last seen out however on his final run for Paul Attwater. Has it to prove for his new yard here.
A fairly useful 5f scorer at his best but he ended 2025 under a cloud, eighth of 10 in 5f handicap at Wolverhampton in November. Needs to get back on track.
Dual C&D winner last winter. Not disgraced when fourth of 14 to Fahrenheit Seven in 5f handicap at Newcastle last month. Possibilities off an easing mark.
Back-to-back C&D winner in December. Posted another good effort when third of 10 to Gaeli over C&D 17 days ago. Ought to be in the shake-up.
Forecasts
Fahrenheit Seven (5/2), Gaeli (9/2), Against The Wind (13/2), Clarendon House (13/2), Rhythm N Hooves (9/1), Clearpoint (10/1), Kylian (10/1), Ziggy's Triton (12/1), Miss Attitude (16/1), Spartan Arrow (25/1), Vintage Clarets (28/1), Brosay (33/1)
GAELI proved a different model on his first run for Marco Botti when a ready C&D scorer and can make light of a 6 lb rise in the weights at the chief expense of Fahrenheit Seven who also took a big step forward for a new yard when going in at Newcastle last time. Clearpoint, Miss Attitude, Ziggy's Triton and Spartan Arrow all need factoring into this competitive sprint too.
- Gaeli9/2
- Clearpoint10/1
