Without a win last year but wasn't seen to best effect on last 2 outings, unsuited by a sharp 7f when sixth of 7 in handicap at Chester (5/1) in September. Very much shaped as if needing the run on return at Kempton last month and possible she'll make more of an impact from much-reduced mark.
Fairly useful winner at 2 yrs for Charlie Appleby but struggled in handicaps for current yard last season. Eyeshields and blinkers on go after 118-day absence.
Largely consistent this winter, winning over C&D in November and runner-up at Southwell in January. Rare poor effort at latter track last time but is the type to bounce back with fully-fledged rider replacing regular 7-lb claimer.
Four-time winner here but it's some time since he's troubled the judge, albeit not completely disgraced when ninth of 10 over C&D last month.
Edged down the weights in a winless 2025 campaign and was very fresh when eighth of 9 on seasonal return at Newcastle last month. This should reveal more.
Veteran scored twice in a patchy 2025 campaign, the latter coming at Redcar in October. Doesn't have the greatest of records fresh and is opposable drawn wide on return from 3 months off.
Grand servant who rolled back the years when winning for the sixth time over C&D in February. Backed that up with another fine effort fitted with blinkers to finish runner-up in a 6-runner race at Lingfield (7f, all-weather) 2 weeks ago and he'll be in the mix again if in the same form.
Held form well for the bulk of last season, notching a deserved third win of the year at Redcar in November. Likely found race coming too soon after just 3 days off on next start. Has run well after a break, so not discounted after 4-month absence.
Winner at Southwell in September and made the frame on 3 of her 5 starts later that year. Back up in grade here but not discounted returning from 108 days off.

Forecasts
Ernie's Valentine (7/4), Eazy On The Eye (5/1), Eagle Day (11/2), Coloane (15/2), Riyadh Gem (8/1), Present Times (17/2), Up The Jazz (10/1), Poetic Force (10/1), Fire Eyes (18/1), Jewel Maker (33/1)
The admirable veteran POETIC FORCE may be the most solid option here, having backed up his C&D win last month with a creditable second at Lingfield 2 weeks ago. Ernie's Valentine runs his race more often than not and it's interesting that he has a fully-fledged rider back in the saddle, whilst Fire Eyes had a productive 2025 campaign and is respected on her return.
- Poetic Force10/1
- Fire Eyes18/1
