Tam Lin^p¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: L Morris| T: A Carson| OR: 55| D

11/4

Won at Chelmsford in November for Alice Haynes and some decent efforts in defeat for this yard, including when third over C&D 2 weeks ago. Should again be in the mix.

Kondratiev Wave^p³²

Age: 9| Weight: 9-7| J: William Carson| T: A W Carroll| OR: 53| C| D

7/4

Now 25 runs without a win but plenty of placed efforts since then, including when third over C&D (6/1) last month despite having little peace up front. Should be thereabouts once more.

Form: 43-3623

Harry Don't Bite¹⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: J F Egan| T: C Poulton| OR: 53

40/1

Massive prices when down the field in 3 starts here in recent weeks (beaten only one of his 23 rivals). Makes handicap debut.

Form: 799

(5)

Porfin^p²

Age: 8| Weight: 9-6| J: Connor Planas⁽³⁾| T: P S McEntee| OR: 52| CD

7/2

Five-time course winner who ended losing run over 6f here last month. Placed 3 of next 4 starts, including when third of 8 at Wolverhampton (5/1) 16 days ago. Return to 7f no issue.

Form: 123530

Angelica K^p1¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 9-5| J: Alistair Rawlinson| T: S Hodgson| OR: 51| C

13/2

Narrow winner here (1m) earlier this month, going off hard from a wide draw. Only sixth of 8 at Chelmsford (16/5) under a penalty 2 days later but probably found race coming too soon. Drop in trip with first-time headgear looks an interesting move.

Form: 400-516

(1)

Roman Emperor^b¹⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 9-5| J: Rob Hornby| T: J Ryan| OR: 51

15/2

Close second off 2 lb higher over C&D in December but has struggled since.

Form: 42-6687

(7)

Miss Moonshine³³

Age: 6| Weight: 9-0| J: Oliver Searle⁽⁵⁾| T: B R Millman| OR: 45| C

33/1

Close third at Wolverhampton last spring but little to shout about since, soundly beaten in classified stakes at Wolverhampton on latest start.

Form: 3000-48

Global Warning¹⁵

Weight: 9-8| Age: 10

Forecasts

Kondratiev Wave (7/4), Global Warning (5/2), Tam Lin (11/4), Porfin (7/2), Angelica K (13/2), Roman Emperor (15/2), Miss Moonshine (33/1), Harry Don't Bite (40/1)

GLOBAL WARNING looks ready to strike having been unlucky over C&D 2 weeks ago. Kondratiev Wave and Tam Lin should be on the premises again, while Angelica K is worth a second look dropped in distance/with headgear applied.
