Returned to form from out of the blue at Sedgefield in November and added to his tally when taking a 4-runner handicap chase here (19f, good) on New Year's Day. In the process of running creditably when falling at the last back here recently but this 9-y-o is too up-and-down for comfort.
Winning chasing debut over 2m at Sedgefield in November and found just one too good on next 2 starts. Didn't jump with much fluency back at Sedgefield last month but had looked pretty sure-footed prior to that and will have a serious chance granted a clean round of jumping.
Lightly-raced hurdles winner who made a reasonable start over fences when third in a Cartmel handicap. However, that was back in June 2023 and his 3 subsequent efforts have not been at all inspiring. Now tried in a tongue strap.
Point winner last spring but she's 0-19 under Rules and is probably best watched starting out over fences here.
Lost his way for Paul Gilligan in Ireland and has failed to fire switched to fences for Brian Cawley the last twice. Moved yard again since and, on the upside, the booking of Sean Bowen catches the eye and he continues to edge down the weights.
Irish point winner remains a maiden under Rules but ought to put that right sooner rather than later judged on in-frame efforts on each of her last 3 starts, most recently finishing third to a highly progressive chaser over this C&D. Now 2 lb lower and she's a major player.
Gained a first success at Sedgefield in February 2024 but hasn't come close to adding to that in 4 subsequent starts, including over hurdles here recently when returning from a lengthy absence.
Showed ability in bumpers and bettered previous hurdles efforts when third of 15 on handicap debut at Perth last spring. However, he hasn't offered much since and will need to prove a different proposition now switched to fences for new yard if he's to have a say. Has undergone a wind op.
Three-time chase winner and best effort for a while when runner-up at Southwell in December. Not in the same form next 2 starts and now 0-12 over jumps but she's not completely written off having slipped to an attractive mark.

Forecasts
Shadowfax Of Rohan (10/3), Bid Up (10/3), Dixie Cowboy (18/5), Blue Bear (4/1), Cawthorne Banker (11/2), Forcetoreckonwith (8/1), El Muchacho (10/1), Zara's Universe (11/1), Ozzy Cosmo (12/1), Zumbi (50/1), Park Hind (200/1)
There has been sufficient promise in FORCETORECKONWITH's recent efforts to suggest that she is capable of opening her Rules account in a race of this nature. She may have most to fear from Dixie Cowboy, who didn't jump well at Sedgefield last month but his start to life over fences has otherwise been positive. Bid Up and Zara's Universe both have place possibilities.
