Hasn't won in 17 races since August 2024 but bounced back to form when second of 10 at Southwell (9/2) 17 days ago, seeing things out more thoroughly in a strongly-run race. Back down in trip and this looks a good opportunity in a slightly lesser grade.

Improved since returning to AW with runner-up finish last time out. Second of 9 in handicap at Kempton (5/2 fav) 4 days ago, ran creditably in first-time blinkers but lacked the turn of foot of the winner. Remains a maiden after 12 starts but should be competitive with headgear retained.

Out of sorts since winning in December 2024 and shaped as if going through the motions when sixth of 9 in handicap at Kempton Park (14/1) 4 days ago, effort flattening out. Remains below his last winning mark and worth a market check with cheekpieces back on.

Remains a maiden after 15 starts but has shown improved form lately, third at Southwell earlier this month. Second of 8 in handicap at this course (5/1) 10 days ago, went as close as ever to breaking his duck, collared only by one in fine form. Back up to 6f and looks sure to run well again.

Yet to win in 13 starts, best recent effort was fourth at Wolverhampton in July but well held when last of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (33/1) 78 days ago after a 12-week absence. Dropped 5 lb but hard to fancy.

Ran better than for a while when third of 12 in conditions race at this C&D (22/1) 31 days ago in first-time visor, doing well despite racing wide throughout. Back in handicap company now and without a win in 18 races, so not certain to build on that with headgear retained.

Long-standing maiden who ran creditably to make the frame several times in recent months, fourth of 8 in handicap at Chelmsford (10/1) 10 days ago, challenged over 1f out but hung left and had no extra. Cheekpieces back on, blinkers removed and can be competitive if seeing out longer trip.

GUNDOGAN bounced back to form when seeing things out better at Southwell and could break his losing sequence dropped into a 0-55. Forever Noah remains a maiden after 15 starts but has shown improved form lately and went as close as ever to breaking his duck when collared late at this course 10 days ago, while Marcus again ran creditably here last time and could be interesting if seeing out 6f.
