4-time C&D winner returned to form after a break when fourth here but couldn't back that up in a slightly better race when fifth of 7 in handicap at this C&D 14 days ago. Can be competitive if back on song.

C&D winner. Four wins from 15 runs last year, including twice at this course (latest off 3 lb higher in March). Best not judged on latest sixth of 10 in handicap (11/1) at Lingfield (10f, AW) 18 days ago, left poorly placed. Still one to consider off a slipping mark.

Relatively lightly-raced. Well backed to land second career/all-weather success (having left James Ferguson for 25,000 gns) when making a successful stable debut in a well-run 12-runner handicap at this course (8.6f, 85/40) 13 days ago. Manner of that victory suggests there's likely more to come.

Useful winner for the Gosden stable in 2024 but lost his way and little encouragement for current yard, latterly on hurdle debut in August. Remains with plenty to prove.

Two-time winner for Tim Easterby but underlined his inconsistency when ninth of 11 in handicap at Haydock (8f, good to soft, 12/1) 84 days ago. Sold for 28,000 gns subsequently but is only 1 lb above his last winning mark on all-weather/stable debut.

Steadily progressive in maidens (runner-up to a fairly useful sort at Nottingham) and didn't need to improve when off the mark with ease at Southwell (8.1f). Much improved up in trip on handicap bow when second of 6 at Lingfield (10f, AW) 25 days ago, having run of race. One for the shortlist.

Won a 1m handicap at Goodwood in June but disappointed on latest Flat start. Well beaten on hurdles debut in October on final run for Gary & Josh Moore (sold for 7,500 gns in November) and remains to be seen if he can get back on track for new yard.

Course winner can race freely but has placed on previous two starts at this track and bounced back to form when second of 6 in handicap (3/1) at Lingfield (8f, AW) 9 days ago, having conceded first run. Should remain competitive.

Latest win came when landing final leg of hat-trick over C&D in February but arrives better than ever, finished close third of 6 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f) 8 days ago. Merits plenty of respect in current vein of form.

Three wins from 8 runs last year. Latest win at Newmarket in October and backed it up when second of 11 in handicap at this C&D (10/1) 27 days ago. That looks solid form for the grade (third has won since) and he should be in the mix again.

Siyouni gelding is thriving at present, making it four wins from previous 5 starts when readily winning 8-runner handicap at this course (8.6f) 7 days ago. Progressive sort can defy a penalty/rise in grade.

Landed 10f handicaps at Bath and Nottingham in autumn. No impact sent hurdling and well held back on Flat, ninth of 10 in handicap (50/1) at Lingfield (10f, AW) 18 days ago, for all he wasn't well placed. Needs more back on the all-weather.

Another valuable pot for the grade and this can go the way of TONAL who is thriving, the manner of his latest victory (fourth win in previous 5 starts) suggesting he can defy a penalty/step up in class. C&D winner Mr Baloo makes appeal from his falling handicap mark, having been left poorly placed last time, while there could be more to come from Advancing who justified support in good style on first start for Marco Botti.
