Unbeaten in 2 starts under Rules, namely a Newton Abbot bumper and Uttoxeter maiden hurdle in 2024. Off since but yard's runner rarely lack for fitness and looks on a fair-looking mark on handicap debut.
Point recruit who built on an encouraging hurdle debut third when winning 2m Plumpton maiden last month. Could only manage sixth of 7 on Ascot handicap debut since but still early days for a yard which continues in form.
Fair Flat winner who got off the over hurdles in a 2m Taunton maiden in February. Easily best effort since when second of 10 in handicap at Kempton 92m, good to soft) 22 days ago.
Irish point winner made a successful hurdling debut at Warwick in March. Ran to similar level when second the following month. Better effort in handicaps this season when fifth of 15 at Cheltenham (2m, heavy) last month but underlines he needs a bit more from his mark.
Second at Newton Abbot (21.5f) in May but hasn't reproduced that in his 2 hurdle outings since.
Has shown promise in his 3 qualifying runs, particularly hen fifth on his Exeter reappearance after 13 months off. Likely improver in handicaps for Joe Tizzard.
Fair form when reaching frame in both bumpers and left hurdling debut effort behind when winning a weak 3-runner maiden at Exeter (17f, good) in March. Good fourth of 10 on 2m Kempton handicap debut/reappearance 3 weeks ago but he did look a little awkward under pressure.
Jumped with more fluency when making his second handicap start a winning one at Taunton (19f, good to firm) last month. First-time tongue tie worn on that occasion is retained. Open to further progress.
Has been held back by headstrong tendencies so far, fading into third on his 20.5f Plumpton handicap debut/reappearance 4 weeks ago. The drop back in trip may help.
Dual juvenile hurdler winner for Adrian Keatley last autumn. Back on form when second in Newton Abbot selling handicap in September (only run for Daisy Hitchens) but well below that level in 3 outings for this yard since.
Won this 12 months ago and warmed up for his defence when a creditable third of 18 on Exeter reappearance in first-time blinkers (retained) 39 days ago. Should go well in this race again.
Finally got off the mark on the Flat in October and has continued the good work back hurdling, winning 2m handicaps at Plumpton and over C&D. Likely to make a bold bid for the hat-trick in his current mood.
Modest 11.5f Flat winner and similar standard over hurdles, finishing a respectable third of 9 on C&D handicap debut 26 days ago. He's 3 lb out of the weights here, though.

Forecasts
Oakley's Way (4/1), Cornish Storm (5/1), Poet Laureate (7/1), Phoenix Risen (7/1), Spuddling (15/2), Sage Green (8/1), Star Artist (9/1), Birthday Angel (10/1), Teorie (14/1), Sea Warrior (14/1), It's A Breeze (20/1), Railway Bell (22/1), Model Approach (80/1)
A competitive finale. OAKLEY'S WAY impressed with the way he went about things at Taunton and may be able to cope with a 6 lb rise but there are lots of possible dangers, headed by the hat-trick seeking Birthday Angel, Joe Tizzard handicap newcomer Sea Warrior and the returning Railway Bell.
