Completed a hat-trick in June and largely consistent in handicaps since with two recent third-place finishes. Not seen to best effect when third of 8 in a handicap at Leicester (8.2f) 16 days ago, staying on well despite stumbling early. Remains of interest and could resume winning ways.

Fair performer who finished 3rd at Newmarket in June. Sixth of 11 in handicap at Redcar 44 days ago, fading from 2f out but might have needed the run after a break. Cheekpieces removed for this return to all-weather and likely to be well-positioned here. Interesting if building on latest run.

Second in a higher grade over this C&D last year. Fair performer in handicaps this season. fifth of 12 in a handicap at Newcastle (16/1) 26 days ago making progress 2f out but unable to live with a quartet of three-year-olds. Not ruled out back down in trip.

Didn't progress as expected for Ralph Beckett and yet to fire for new yard, ninth of 11 in handicap at Nottingham (28/1) 15 days ago. Now tries first-time cheekpieces but remains with plenty to prove.
|
Has shown fair ability on AW including a second at Lingfield, most recently fourth of 9 on handicap debut at Kempton (11/2) 113 days ago where hung right late on. First-time blinkers may help but seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train and is worth a market check returning from another absence.
|
Has shown fair form at around a mile on turf but yet to win in 9 starts. Finished fourth of 11 in a handicap at Nottingham (16/1) 15 days ago, making headway late after being held up. Down to a more realistic mark and could be competitive on all-weather debut.
|
Has shaped with promise for new connections, runner-up for the second time when narrowly denied over 7f at Brighton (well-backed). Ran creditably in a better race when fifth of 11 at Brighton (14/1) 60 days ago. One to note for support on return to all-weather.
|
Won at this C&D (11/2) 56 days ago but ran poorly when sixth of 7 in handicap at Newcastle (4/1) 35 days ago. Could bounce back returning to the scene of latest success.

Forecasts
Beaming Light (11/8), Shimmering Sands (16/5), Midnight Ravens (9/2), Springbok (9/1), Siam Fox (11/1), Coloane (14/1), Towerlands (22/1), Priapos (28/1)
Very competitive but BEAMING LIGHT has been consistent in handicaps, staying on well for third at Leicester 16 days ago despite stumbling early, and is fancied to resume winning ways. Siam Fox should be closer to form with cheekpieces removed for this all-weather return and could be the beneficiary if the pace is steady, while Springbok makes his all-weather debut off a more realistic mark following his creditable Nottingham fourth.
- Beaming Light11/8
- Siam Fox11/1
- Springbok9/1
