Eased in weights and confirmed promise of previous start when landing 9-runner handicap at Chester (5.5f, heavy) on his penultimate start. Well held in a big-field apprentice handicap at York (7f) 8 days ago but this rates a less demanding assignment.
Thirteen runs since last win in 2024. 50/1 and visored for 1st time, twenty fourth of 25 in Ayr Bronze Cup at Ayr (6f, soft) 29 days ago, soon off bridle and making no impression. Hard to warm to at present despite sliding mark.
Latest win at Southwell in September. Seventh of 9 in handicap at Musselburgh (5f, soft, 16/1) 17 days ago, forced to challenge widest of all and making little impact from the rear. Not ruled out from a handy draw.
4 wins from 13 runs this year, the latest at Hamilton (5f) in August. However, disappointed on 2 of her 3 starts since, last of 11 in handicap (80/1) at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 23 days ago. Drawn wider than ideal on this occasion and others rate stronger.
It's now fifteen runs since last win in 2024 but he comes here having not been seen to best effect having missed the break when fourth of 10 in handicap at Redcar (5f, good to soft, 11/2) 14 days ago. One to bear in mind from this sort of mark.
Course winner. Creditable fourth of 13 in handicap (17/2) at Southwell (6.1f) 15 days ago. Visor back on and he's a contender having slipped back down to last winning mark.
Latest win at Hamilton (6f) in July. Respectable third of 13 in handicap (16/1) at Pontefract (6f, soft) 12 days ago, not clear run under 2f out but staying on final 1f. Fancied to be in the mix again from 1 lb lower mark.
Consistent in 6f handicaps, short of room and stumbling when unseating rider in 14-runner handicap at Newmarket (4/1) 71 days ago. Clearly gets a pass for that and he's well weighted these days starting out for new yard.
C&D winner. 2 wins from 6 runs this year. Latest win here in May. Twelfth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f, 10/1) 15 days ago, weakening 2f out. That was a rare below-par display and no surprise to see him back on track from what is a handy draw.
Successful at Sandown (5f, soft) in August and with cheekpieces refitted, returned to that sort of form when resuming winning ways in 11-runner handicap at Kempton (6f) 3 days ago, getting a good tow into the race and pouncing late on. Escapes a penalty for that and very much respected again.

Forecasts
Lipsink (9/2), Beauty Choice (9/2), Spring Bloom (9/2), Alligator Alley (13/2), Bosh (7/1), Ancient Times (8/1), Monsieur Kodi (17/2), Paws For Thought (9/1), Zarzyni (20/1), Hurt You Never (50/1)
LIPSINK escapes a penalty for Wednesday's Kempton success and with his rider taking off a handy 5 lb on this occasion, he is worth siding with despite a potentially tricky draw. Spring Bloom is down to a handy mark and well berthed in stall 1 he commands respect on debut for a new yard. Alligator Alley and C&D winner Ancient Times are just a couple of others to consider in the finale.
