Improver stepped up to 1¼m, winning fast-ground handicaps over C&D and at Windsor this summer. Lost his action at Glorious Goodwood and quickly back on track with a good second over C&D and shaped as if still in good form on softer ground than previously at Newbury since.
Improved to record a second career win when enjoying the run of the race in a 6-runner Musselburgh handicap over 9f in July. Sold from Karl Burke for 165,000 gns after and took another step forward when third in a well-contested C&D event but needs to shrug off a lesser effort at Doncaster since.
Shaped a lot better than result in Britannia at Royal Ascot and followed that with a near-miss at Newmarket (1m, good to firm). Not seen to anything like best effect both outings since, including when left poorly placed at Windsor (10f) in August. Remains open to improvement.
Hasn't added to his tally since making a winning debut at Ayr last autumn but has run some good races in defeat, including when third of 13 in handicap at Ayr (10f, good to soft) 22 days ago, meeting repeated trouble. Strikes as being on a good mark and must enter calculations.
Has finished second in four of six starts, most recently in 6-runner handicap at Chester (10.3f, heavy) 20 days ago, pulling long way clear of rest. A first success surely beckons.
Pair of 1m Doncaster wins earlier in the season. Stamina likely stretched over 1½m at Ascot in August and returned to winning ways in game fashion back down in trip in 16-runner handicap here (7.9f) last month. Raised only 2 lb and ought to remain competitive.
Well-bred sort who showed plenty first 3 outings and didn't need to improve to land a small-field maiden at Newcastle (10.2f) 25 days ago, always holding on despite not keeping straight under pressure. The fitting of cheekpieces looks a good move and could have more to offer on handicap debut.
Fair winner in France. Sold from A. & G. Botti for €45,000 and possibly needed the run when well held in 1m handicap at Newbury on UK/stable debut last month, unable to sustain effort. Probably needs further respite from the assessor before becoming of interest, though.

Forecasts
Hornsea Bay (3/1), Jupiter Ammon (3/1), Mukhtalif (9/2), Dante's Lad (5/1), Castle Stuart (15/2), Parole D'oro (9/1), Canvas (22/1), Tiger (40/1)
A reasonable 3-y-o handicap as it should be for the money on offer. JUPITER AMMON looks primed to strike having pulled miles clear of the rest when runner-up at a well-treated one at Chester last month and can make the most of the handicapper's leniency to raise him only 2 lb for that effort. Hornsea Bay and Parole D'oro are others who are threatening to come good soon.
