Won at Beverley (4/1) 34 days ago then finished second of 7 in handicap at Chester (9/2) a week ago, worn down late in the day on heavy going. Encouraging that he's strung good performances together and he's likely to give it a good go from the front.
String of unplaced efforts in handicaps prior to doubling career tally in 7-runner handicap at Yarmouth (9/2) 11 days ago, making all. Dominating this field asks a different question.
Inconsistent form with one win from 12 starts, finishing sixth of 10 in handicap at Lingfield (13/2) 14 days ago when dropped back to 5f and never dangerous. Will need a well-run race kept to this trip.
Has form at 5f-6f including a C&D win and finished fourth of 14 in handicap at Redcar (18/1) 11 days ago on stable debut, keeping on when hung left over 1f out. Returns to a track where successful previously and he's entitled to come on for that.
Rather in-and-out these days but best effort for some considerable time when winning at Catterick a month ago. Last of 14 in handicap at Haydock a week later, folding as though not 100% on the day.
Won at Catterick in May but finished 12th of 13 in handicap at same course (15/2) 18 days ago, never involved after short break, not knocked about. Better judged on previous form.
Hasn't stood much racing since last win in April 2024 but he shaped well when fifth of 14 in handicap at Haydock Park (33/1) 22 days ago, noted making good late headway. Eased further 1 lb so weighted to go very well.
Admirable veteran who returned to last winning mark when fourth of 7 in handicap at Chester (6/1) 7 days ago, meeting trouble late on. Can still be competitive at this level.
Dropped a long way in the weights after a poor spell but back in excellent order in recent weeks, second of 18 in 5f handicap at Ayr (7/2) 9 days ago, looking sure to win but caught on the line. Major claims up 2 lb.
C&D winner last summer who finished fourth at this track in July. Eighth of 9 at Musselburgh (9/1) 13 days ago when stumbling at the start and having nowhere to go when attempting to challenge. That run easy to overlook so he has to be taken very seriously.
Won at Thirsk in June but finished eighth of 13 in handicap at Catterick (12/1) 18 days ago when dwelling at start and finding no extra in final furlong. Capable on a good day but she's never been one to set your watch to.
Out of form lately, seventh of 14 in handicap at Haydock (10/1) 22 days ago, reportedly having an issue with his wind. Hasn't won for 19 races so easy to overlook despite free-falling mark.
Veteran performer with nine course wins at Ripon, most recently in reapplied cheekpieces 32 days ago, making all and just holding on. Remains competitive at his favoured track but this is a deeper handicap.

Forecasts
Vince L'Amour (3/1), Smart Vision (7/2), Copper Knight (5/1), Mark's Choice (15/2), Mission Command (11/1), Illusionist (11/1), Gold Star Hero (14/1), Wen Moon (14/1), Miss Brazen (14/1), High Opinion (18/1), Glory Fighter (28/1), Cayman Tai (28/1), Albegone (33/1)
VINCE L'AMOUR has been in resurgent form of late, mugged on the line at Ayr recently, and he's clearly weighted to strike. High Opinion had a ready excuse last time and is feared most, though llusionist also figures on a tempting mark and is very fresh for this stage of the season.
- High Opinion18/1
- Illusionist11/1
