Latest win at Windsor in May. 13/2, creditable third of 7 in handicap at the same course (8.1f, good to firm) 23 days ago. Good strike rate on the AW (4-10) and he's a strong candidate.
Course winner. Creditable third of 10 in handicap at Chelmsford City (7f, 10/3) 4 days ago. Each-way chance off the same mark.
Latest win at Southwell in August. 18/1, tenth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f) 18 days ago. Hood back on and others make more appeal.
5/1, career best when winning 8-runner handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to firm) 23 days ago, well positioned. 4 lb rise tolerable and he's a must for the shortlist.
Eighth of 11 in handicap (16/1) at Southwell (8.1f) 13 days ago. Well held sole previous start on the AW and he's opposable.
33/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, ninth of 12 in handicap at Windsor (10f, firm) 32 days ago. Makes polytrack debut and it's probably best to look elsewhere.
Three wins from 11 runs this year. Career best when winning 7-runner handicap at Chepstow (6.1f, good, 6/4) 21 days ago. Moving back up in trip shouldn't be a problem and he's a major player.
Latest win at Wolverhampton in June. 16/1, respectable fourth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 9 days ago. Likely to find one or two too good once more.
Lightly-raced maiden. 4/1, last of 9 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good) 87 days ago. Probably worth taking on starting out for new yard.
5/4, good third of 7 in handicap at this course (7f) 12 days ago and he's should have a part to play back up to a mile off the same mark.

Forecasts
Falmouth Lad (5/2), Lessay (3/1), Outlandish (7/1), Waistcoat (15/2), Newfangled (8/1), Ocean Odyssey (10/1), Zolder (10/1), Corundum (12/1), Sense Of Worth (22/1), Fitzmaurice (50/1)
The vote goes to WAISTCOAT, who has made a good start for this yard and a 3 lb rise for his recent Chepstow success looks manageable. The one caveat where he is concerned is that his three previous runs on the all-weather haven't been among his best efforts, but he's evidently improved since the latest of those back in February. Newfangled is second choice ahead of Falmouth Lad and Zolder.
