Foaled April 3. 90,000 gns yearling, Teofilo colt. Brother to 1½m winner Genesius and half-brother to useful 6f-7f winner Quest For Fun and 8.3f winner Brielle. Considered newcomer.
Ninth of 10 in novice at Kempton (7f, 22/1) on debut 23 days ago. Needs a big step forward.
Zarak colt shaped well when sixth of 9 in novice at Kempton (7f, 6/4) on debut 23 days ago, slowly away and running green. Clearly thought capable of much better and not one to rule out.
Once-raced maiden. Last of 11 in novice at Kempton (8f, 50/1) on debut 16 days ago.
Fairly useful colt. Only sixth of 7 in Prix Francois Boutin at Deauville (7f, good) 26 days ago but holds leading form claims back in these much calmer waters.
Once-raced maiden. 33/1, last of 7 in maiden at Newbury (8f, good to firm) on debut 28 days ago.
Twice-raced maiden, only tenth of 11 in maiden at Sandown (7f, good to soft) 50 days ago. Has work to do.
Foaled February 17. 80,000 gns yearling, Gleneagles filly. Trainer’s newcomers always command respect, especially if the market speaks in her favour.
Foaled April 30. 16,000 gns yearling, Make Believe gelding. Half-brother to Japanese 7f winner Day And Night. A much respected debutant.
Once-raced maiden. 100/1, last of 7 in maiden at Kempton (8f) on debut 24 days ago.

Charlie Johnston's EVANESCO found a Group 3 event at Deauville too much last time but this fairly useful colt looks to have found a very good opportunity to get off the mark unless one of the debutants prove well out of the ordindary. Andrew Balding's Hard To Believe could prove the pick of those, although Ralph Beckett's duo Hell Yeah He Did and Morven both command lots of respect too.
