Useful early juvenile who didn't need to improve for win number 4 in the Super Sprint at Newbury in July. Sound-enough fifth trying to land another valuable pot at York a fortnight ago and she's likely to give it another good go.

Huge effort on second start when runner-up in the Albany (6f) in June. Landed the odds with the minimum of fuss back in maiden company at Leicester and she just about sets the standard.

Ridden with much more restraint on second start and landed 11-runner maiden at Newbury a week ago. Can improve again but bare form is ordinary in the context of this.

Confirmed debut promise when landing 7-runner maiden Chepstow in June. Upped in class and much better form in defeat since, runner-up in the Queen Mary, fifth in the Princess Margaret Stakes and third in listed company at Newbury latest. Return to 6f in her favour.

Palace Pier filly who created a very favourable impression when landing a Beverley novice on debut in July and did nothing to alter that view when following up over 6f at York 3 weeks later, well on top finish. Form has taken a few knocks since but she's worth her place in this company.

Starman filly who confirmed debut promise when readily scoring in 8-runner maiden at Newmarket (7f, good) in July. Held every chance and ultimately seemed beaten on merit when third in listed company at Sandown since, though easier to excuse run in the Prestige Stakes (met trouble). Back in trip.

Sent off 80/1 and fitted with a tongue strap/cheekpieces for the first time, she seemed to excel herself when an excellent fourth of 11 in conditions stakes at Goodwood (5f). Backed that up and more when second in listed company at Newbury so she's now going the right way despite maiden status.

Blue Point filly. Half-sister to useful 6f-1m winner Storm Star. Dam winner up to 7f (Sceptre Stakes and 2-y-o 6f winner). Clued up enough to make a winning debut at Goodwood a fortnight ago. This asks a good deal more but she's certainly in the right hands.

Different proposition on second start when winning 11-runner novice at Windsor in July (6f). Limit not yet reached but another jolt of progress required.

£85,000 2-y-o, Invincible Spirit filly. Dam, 8.6f winner, half-sister to useful 11f-14.5f winner Dancing King out of smart winner up to 6f (2-y-o 6f winner) Agnetha. Overcame early greenness to make a taking winning debut at Nottingham in July (5f). Can only improve for 6f so more to come.

Having excelled herself when runner-up in a well-up-to-scratch Albany Stakes in June, AWAKEN got off the mark without any issues at Leicester and she's just about the one to beat on these terms. Flowerhead and Anthelia are the chief threats on form, though Golden Palace may offer most resistance with the prospect of plenty more to come.
