All-the-way York success in June was his fifth since joining Ruth Carr at the start of 2025. Creditable third of 15 in Great St Wilfrid consolation over C&D (good to firm) 10 days ago. Big player.
C&D winner. Latest win at Haydock in July. 12/1, below form eighth of 13 in Racing League handicap at Wolverhampton (6f) 26 days ago but not discounted back on turf.
Behind reopposing stablemate Kats Bob when eighth of 15 over C&D (good to firm) 10 days ago, although he did look comfortable with the pace on his first attempt at sprinting. First-time blinkers replace regular cheekpieces.
Won this race last year but ran poorly when behind a couple of these over C&D recently. A bounce back is needed.
C&D winner. Respectable fourth of 15 over C&D (good to firm) 10 days ago, with Kats Bob a length ahead of her in third.
Fair maiden. Eighth of 10 in handicap (33/1) at Doncaster (6f, firm) in May. Off since and gelded. Remains relatively unexposed for a sprinter but Lesley's Boy is the more obvious of the yard's pair.
C&D winner. Visored first time, good third of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to firm, 12/1) 33 days ago. Can make presence felt.
40/1, first run since leaving William Haggas when twelfth of 16 in handicap at York (7f, good to firm) 31 days ago. Can only watch after that.
Course winner but has largely struggled for form in 2025. Starting to look potentially well handicapped as a result but need to see more.
Latest win at Catterick (6f, good) in July but disappointing twice since, finishing last of 4 when sent off favourite at Lingfield latterly.
Fourteen runs since last win in 2023. Visored first time, eighth of 10 in handicap at Catterick (7f, good to firm, 10/1) 8 days ago. Not hard to look elsewhere.
Six-time C&D winner, including this race in 2022. Latest C&D win came in June. Just as good when second at Doncaster (7f) in July. His run of good form came to a halt at Southwell latest but certainly can't rule out a revival back here.

Speeding Bullet (11/4), Kats Bob (4/1), Mark's Choice (9/2), Raffles Angel (9/2), Woodstock (7/1), Lesley's Boy (7/1), Wreck It Ryley (7/1), Ziggy's Ariel (10/1), Chuti Manika (14/1), Cairdeas (18/1), Ay Gee Ell (25/1), Count D'Orsay (28/1), The Green Man (33/1)
KATS BOB showed he's still in good form when third in a competitive race over C&D recently and may be up to landing the sixth success of an excellent first campaign with Ruth Carr. Lesley's Boy's latest Doncaster third came in a 3-y-o handicap which has thrown up winners and he's second choice ahead of C&D specialist Mark's Choice.
- Kats Bob4/1
- Lesley's Boy7/1
