Foaled April 28. 140,000 gns New Bay colt. Half-brother to several winners, including smart 1¼m-14.4f winner Absurde and useful 10.5f winner Impertinente. Dam useful French 1¼m/10.5f winner. Likely type on paper.
Modest form on both starts and likely booked for another struggle.
Foaled April 9. 90,000 gns Space Blues gelding. Half-brother to smart 7f-12.7f winner Kalapour and useful 9.4f-11.7f winner Kalaxana. The betting should help guide to expectations.
Foaled February 1. 150,000 gns yearling, Blue Point colt. Closely related to 7f winner Risaalaat and half-brother to 3 winners, including winner up to 1m Machito. Group entries in the autumn suggest this one has been showing up well at home. Interesting.
Foaled May 11. 40,000 gns Make Believe colt. Dam, 1¼m-1½m winner who stayed 14.5f, half-sister to very smart winner up to 1m Here Comes When. A watching brief is advised unless the betting suggests otherwise.
Foaled April 2. $240,000 Not This Time colt. Dam 1m winner who would have stayed 1¼m out of winning half-sister to Deutsches Derby winner Buzzword. One to note in the market for his leading yard.
Foaled March 25. Kingman colt. Brother to 7f-1m winner Boardman and 1m winner Thesis, both useful, and half-brother to several winners, including smart winner up to 1½m Pinhole. Makes obvious paper appeal.
Promising individual. 15/2, sixth of 12 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to firm, 15/2) on debut 36 days ago. That form has been boosted and he's open to progress.
Twice-raced maiden. Stepped up on debut when third of 7 in maiden at Ascot (6f, good to firm) 21 days ago, nearest finish. The step up to 7f should suit. Capable of better again.
Foaled May 12. €190,000 breeze-up purchase. No Nay Never half-brother to several winners, including smart 6.5f-1m winner Duhail and winner up to 1m Locke. Worth a second look in the betting.

Forecasts
Venetian Prince (6/5), Wechaad (4/1), Law Court (6/1), Slight Of Foot (9/1), Bay Of Brilliance (11/1), Nova Centauri (16/1), Edwin Hubble (18/1), Wedonttelllies (22/1), Magical Merlot (40/1), Bird Of War (50/1)
VENETIAN PRINCE showed promise on debut in a Newmarket July meeting maiden which has already thrown up plenty of winners so he gets the vote before any market clues are known about the several interesting newcomers. The fact Law Court has been handed Group entries in the autumn suggests he is well regarded so he's a tentative second choice ahead of fellow debutants Slight of Foot and Bay of Brilliance.
